Unreliable

I’ve had the 120 pro a little over 2 years and the back panel of glass started to bend which lead to the support beam of glass in the middle to come loose and detach.

I was in email communication with Ciano and they told me to glue it back on. So although I found that unprofessional as they’ve sold me a faulty tank and have told me to fix it myself, I tried to. I emptied my tank and used strong tape pull the bent back panel of glass back straight and glued the support beam as advised.

Over a week I slowly filled the tank back up to prevent shock and risk tank bursting completely but as it got to 80% full, it happened again.

I informed them about this and they basically said it’s not their problem and then ignored me. Absolutely terrible customer service and take no responsibility for the faulty products they sell.

The issue is they obviously don’t quality check the glass they’re using to build the tanks as it shouldn’t bend which suggests it either has faults or they’re not using thick enough glass.

Stay away unless you don’t mind risking it bursting.

Needs better instructions

Previously bought one of their small starter tanks, which had no problem with and served the purpose, have recently upgraded to 58 L tank with the bio filter, tank itself so far seems okay and a good quality tank, the bio filter is another story, absolute nightmare to put together, instructions are useless and may as well have none, pictures are very small, on clipping the filter to the tank one of the clips snapped meaning filter is now only being held by one clip and the sucker, I would therefore recommend their tanks even though early days with this one etc, but would recommend going for 58L one with the slightly smaller filter instead of the bio filter due to the awkwardness of having to put it together

I brought a Ciano pro 120 a 239L…

I brought a Ciano pro 120 a 239L aquarium it’s been set up and not moved it’s established and the fish were doing well. I went away for the night and came home to very water left in the tank, just enough to keep the fish alive, water all over my floor. After emptying spotted a crack coming from the seam right in the middle. Ciano and watermarque are taking no responsibility. My fish are not happy in a massive tub while I need to spend another £600 on another new tank the same size to actually my fish.

Absolute rubbish.

Absolute rubbish.
I have purchased their 60 litre tank 3 and a half months ago from Horns Garden Centre in Durham DH6 2PX.
This was placed on my kitchen counter then and filled up and never moved since.
The surface is completely flat and nothing was placed under the tank.
2 nights ago I woke up at 06:00 to an empty tank and a flood in my kitchen with a big crack on the bottom glass left to right edge.
All fish and plants dead now.
I'm absolutely gutted.
I've asked the shop to replace the tank but after they've asked CIANO they said "NO" due to the crack.
The tank was placed 3.5 months ago on a completely flat, solid, wooden surface with nothing under it.
Since I have first filled the tank with water I have never moved it, would be impossible to due to The sheer weight of it.
O have not had any rocks or heavy objects inside it as my design was 1 inch white sand substrate and live plants.
As a review of the CIANO 58L tank design:
1. Very basic cheap white LED light with no colour change.
2. Cheapest filter pump possible, will not handle this much water and will force you to buy weekly filters to replace (which are not cheap).
3. In my case the bottom glass broke killing all my fish and plant life setting me back over £600.

Love their aquarium products

Love their aquarium products. I didn't use them before. Actually very good and every day I like it more. Not so sure about the mini cartridges. Websites a bit awkward but got used to it.
