If I could give them no stars I would. I have contacted them so many times!! I made my order in November before Black Friday and then they sent me an email saying this……

I still haven’t received my product and they won’t answer me. It also says it’s been delivered in one place but on shop it hasn’t moved! I really was looking forward to my product but now I just want a refund and no one will answer me. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life. I would never order from them ever again so beware!

Extremely Disappointed – Never Ordering Again

I’ve been a loyal customer of Ciaté for over 5 years, but this recent experience has completely ruined my trust in the brand. I placed an order on November 28, 2024, totaling $100+, and after two months, I still haven’t received my items. The only response I received was on December 12, 2024, telling me to avoid sending multiple messages if I had already contacted them. That is unacceptable, especially since they’ve ghosted me ever since!

I’ve requested to cancel my order and get a refund multiple times, with no reply. It’s outrageous that Ciaté would ignore their customers like this. At this point, I don’t even want the items anymore – I just want my money back.

If you’re thinking about ordering from them, don’t. This experience has been beyond frustrating, and I’ll never purchase from Ciaté again.

Ordered November 29

Ordered November 29, 2024. Shipping label was created. Two weeks went by and emailed for an update. They responded with a generic message saying sorry for the delay but gave no reason or update past that. Paypal gave me my money back. Then yesterday 1/11/25 it was out for delivery. It showed it was delivered in mailbox. Nothing was in my mailbox. I got ahold of my post office and she told me it was a mail scam as it was delivered and addressed to another person/address.

This company is a fraud

This company is a fraud! Just like the many reviews I am reading, I placed an order December 2nd and haven't received it. There has been no communication from this company, and I have attempted to contact them several times.

Wow I am just amazed at how many of us…

Wow I am just amazed at how many of us are experiencing this FRAUD! I too have bought a mystery box on Black Friday and have not received a thing.! It’s now the new year 2025 and zero! I have emailed them several times for the updates and whereabouts of what I purchased. What I got in return is an email from them stating not to write them multiple emails as it would set everything back?? Seriously?? You all just don’t like getting multiple emails so you don’t have to deal with customers writing to you about your incompetence of running a business! I get another email last one, stating that they would PROMISE! To get it to me by Xmas. Lmao! Yeah right! All Lies!!!!! Still nothing has arrived!
What sucks is that the products are good, that’s why I bought them in the first place because I have used them before, but this crap about the customer service end is terrible and scammy and unacceptable!!! It just makes me feel ewwwww about the whole company itself! Not buying from Ciate ever again why would I want them to take my money and not deliver any products again for the second time?? That would be pure stupidity The trust for this company is destroyed!!! WARNING!!! If you wanna get scammed out of your hard working money buy from Ciate!! NOPE!!! 👎

They steal peoples money. I spent $50 of my head earned cash and they never sent me my things! It’s been 5 weeks…. No response what sever. Buyer beware.. they will take your hard earned sweet cash and will disappear...

I placed an order on Dec 2nd that has not changed progress wise. I have emailed 3 times, submitted an online form twice, and tried to find a phone number but nothing. I am almost to 30 days with no order, no shipping info, and unable to get a refund!

I ordered a mystery box on Nov.30th

I ordered a mystery box on Nov.30th. The tracking app tells me two different things. 1) lable created, waiting item 2( can't ship to my address. I've emailed 3 times and filled out their online form 3 times. No response. I want an update or refund. I called my bank and they're creating a fraud investigation for undelivered goods. I may file with USPS too.

It’s been 3 weeks

I placed and order on November 30th, the label was created on December 2nd. I have yet as of December 21st to receive my order. All it says is that it is still in New York! I have contacted customer service 2 times with no response. Seems like this is a common problem for this company as of recently.

Never received products or true tracking info

I ordered the Mystery Box before Black Friday and received an email with a tracking number on Nov 27th. After more than a week went by and USPS indicated label created only I reached out to the company who responded there was a issue with the tracking numbers and they would keep me updated. Waited another week and after no updates I reached out again and receive an email that they were still working on it and to please not send multiple inquiries. Still no update or new tracking info. I noticed the US website now indicates sold out of everything which makes me wonder if they are short product. Also noticed that although there are tons of influencer videos regarding it last year there is only one this year that makes me think most did not receive their product. I like the products I have received via Ipsy but I dont know that I would buy from them directly again.

Update 1/14/2024 - Received an email from Usps that the tracking number they gave me previously would be delivered on 1/13/2024 but did not receive package even though it said it was delivered in mailbox. Originally thought the mailman messed up but after reading another review here it appears that is also part of the scam. Most likely this was faked due to my submission of dispute to credit card company.

Is this for real?

Can't find a phone number it's over 2 weeks and my tracking says all they have done is print a label and waiting for the item. I thought they were established and reknown, what's going on? Unreal. Crickets to my emails. DO BETTER..SEND MY PRODUCT OR GIVE ME A REFUND. I guess the mystery box will remain a mystery.

Placed my order on the 17th of November…

Placed my order on the 17th of November and usps is still saying they haven't received my package. I emailed and got a response 1 time and I've emailed twice since with no response. Reading reviews other places it seems I'm not alone

Update: I did after filing a claim with klarna receive my order on December 9th. But still didn't get a response from customer service.

good look getting your items

getting through to that company is like finding a needle in a haystack!!! they don't respond if you phone number it tells you to email them which I have done three times and no response.. I ordered three mystery boxes as gifts for Christmas on the website it states it uses royal mail well it wasn't royal mail who delivered it to the wrong address and it was handed back to them it was evri the worst courier services going!! I was sent an email stating it was delivered.. t wasn't aware it was being delivered that day as ive had no email stating it.. with the email from evri was a picture attached which wasn't my house I had walk around my neighbourhood trying to locate it I had found the house eventually and kncked on the door I had asked the lady if she had my parcel which she replied no ive handed it back to the driver so ive no parcel and ive lost money evri has emailed me back today saying the sender is the one that needs to sort it out..

I absolutely love dealing with this company! Not only do you receive your purchase quickly but if you have any problems, their customer service team are exceptional. There are a lot of other companies that could learn a thing or two from these lovely people. Alex is exceptional. Professional, helpful and kind. 10/10 all round!! 😊

Excellent customer service

I bought the Superpower gift set for my daughter for Christmas and I wasn’t sure if it was going to arrive for our Christmas Day which we were celebrating on Friday 22nd December because my husband works for the emergency services and was due to work over Christmas. I emailed Ciate to ask about delivery and a lovely employee called Alex said they would try to get it to me on 21st December so I had time to wrap it on that day in time for my daughter to open it on our Christmas morning. Bearing in mind the set had been mentioned on the Martin Lewis show and subsequently sold out after Ciate received lots of last minute orders I wasn’t holding out much hope. Then at midday on 21st December it was delivered. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you so much to Alex and the Ciate Team for your excellent customer service. Also my 18 year old daughter was so happy when she opened the gift set and commented on the high end quality of the makeup.
