I had custom butterfly chair covers made in 2013 but did not keep my records…Luckily for me, I called Circa50 and they were the company I had used before! Steve was a jewel and researched their history and informed me that my covers had lasted since 2013. As you can guess, I reordered more and they had them completed and shipped to me within 2 weeks. Didn’t realize I was talking to the owner Steve at the time but I had a hunch that he was just the way he handle things very polite and professional personal also I love the history about his great grandfather I’m all about history working in the original building his Family had own since 1890 I’ll have to check it out someday when I make it to Vermont he did a beautiful job I have ordered from this place three times now within 30 years I was afraid they may not be in business like a lot of businesses . It’s excellent quality just like his great grandfather would of done I’m sure .He would’ve approved of his quality and workmanship.

Sooooo after trying many places for butterfly chair covers I came upon circa50
What a surprise when Steve picked up the phone,oh nobody does that!!!
Had a chat and we figured out what fabric would work the best for what we needed and boom,done.
And covers can earlier than expected (thank you Steve)and were there for a large group at the cottage

Enjoy the experience of ordering from Circa 50. Enjoyed browsing the products and was able to find a butterfly chair cover in the color I wanted. Quality is great and I look forward to having a reason to purchase from them again.

We are so lucky to have Steve Dunning continue his business. He make the best butterfly chair covers on the market. I'm thankful there's an online community out there to help me learn how to restore the iron frames. There are great rust removal gel and then I finished the job with steel wool. I used the recommended advise to use cans of black enamel spray paint, satin finish, 4 coats of paint per chair. I have emailed Steve pictures of the finished product.

I’m delighted with our new hot orange canvas outdoor butterfly chair covers. They were made to order from sturdy, waterproof Sunbrella fabric and arrived very quickly. The owner of Circa50, Steve Dunning, provided excellent customer service.

Circa50 manufactures and sells wonderful butterfly chair covers and provides an even better customer experience! I was looking to replace the faded covers for my grandmothers’ original Butterfly chairs from the 1930s. I spoke with the owner, Mr. Dunning, and he could not have been more helpful! We discussed fabric, best fit for the chairs and how low I wanted to sit in the chair, durability, location and fade resistant fabrics and the fact that they can tailor chair covers to suit somewhere between the standard sizes. I received my covers today and they are great looking and they support you nicely in the chair enabling you to get out of the chair as easily as you get in. I will order them again as I am very happy with the quality and exceptional customer service. You can’t beat these chair covers!

Customer service was excellent. My first order was received promptly but due to inaccurate measurements on my part, the cover did not fit. Working with the company, a new cover was ordered and arrived quickly. Excellent quality and attention to detail. Very pleased with both the product and the service.

I really had the best customer service from Circa50 when I recently sought a cover for my butterfly chair. The person I spoke with on the phone was kind, patient, personable, knowledgeable, and ended up recommending the cover that fit perfectly. That wasn't so easy because my chair frame seemed to be between sizes. It was a pleasure to deal with a real human. Thanks much, Circa50. I'll buy more from you in the future.

We've been ordering covers for our 4 butterfly chairs from these guys for years. they have exterior and interior chair slings in all colors and fabrics. the service is great; ships fast; well priced and the sizes for different frames styles are spot on. Recommend ordering from this biz.

This company should be avoided. They lost my order. I tried to contact them for weeks and the phone just rang with no way to leave a message. When I finally did get through They were despondent at first and then just rude and insulting.

They lied about shipping being free. After placing the order they added a $25.00 shipping fee. When I confronted them on the fact that their website says plainly "We ship for free" they avoided the issue alltogether. I'll never do business with Circa50 again.
