Lincoln Private Hospital - welcoming, helpful and pleasant
The reception and other staff are always very welcoming, pleasant and helpful - I've had a few visits for various purposes. Courteous, take the time to make you feel more than just a number, and most things run to time. Hospitals are not places to choose to go to, but Lincoln Private Hospital does ameliorate that. The car parking is getting a bit tight, though.

Every aspect of my visit was smooth and very cordial. I wish they could continue with that team spirit.
Excellent clinical care, but the welcome needs attention
I was extremely impressed with the clinical team and consultant. The care was professional, attentive and reassuring. Access to Bishopswood is also excellent, with straightforward parking.
My only significant criticism is the receptionist’s curt and unwelcoming attitude. Having spent over five decades in the hospitality industry, I know that the welcome sets the tone for the experience that follows.
This is an area where the reception team needs training and development. Patients have choices, whether through private medical insurance or self pay, and the importance of a warm, professional welcome should not be underestimated.
The clinical care is excellent. The reception experience needs to match it.
Lacklustre consultant & confused body parts
X-ray of hip Sloane Hospital 4.9.2026. The consultant who did the initial phone triage sounded extremely bored and as if he would rather be doing almost anything else. When he was explaining the results, he was unable to explain 'impinging' in lay terms even when asked several times. This seems to show disinterest and/or lack of basic preparation. Not worth the extra £50. AI does a much better job. Finally, the report mixed up the left hip with the right hip. Very careless.
The speed of the process, the x-ray procedure, hospital and the person I spoke to to arrange the appointment were all very good.

GP appointment - Experience mixed
GP appointment was very fast and good.
getting results of tests problematic and contacting GP or hospital billing was impossible involving long waits on telephone lines only to get through to someone who has to e mail a request.
after appointment service would barely get 1 star

A very friendly and professional approach , the consultant Dr Vishal Patel is very knowledgable about his field that he specialises in.
Disappointed
It felt like quite a cold and impersonal experience. I didn’t feel listened to and came away feeling worse about my injury than when I had come to the hospital. At the price for private healthcare I really expected better

Excellent Patient Care.
I attend the Kings Spires Hospital in Stirling and I feel very glad that I can have access to such excellent care and facilities. The team are very attentive and helpful and I cant praise my consultant enough for her expertise and kind manner. I will need to attend on a fairly regular basis but its a huge comfort to know that I have that support when needed.

Good Hospital
Once you negotiate the complex of St Peters hospital to actually find the Runnymede Hospital and get parked in the right car park, I found it was very comfortable and reassuring experience all round.

Excellent service from start to finish
Excellent service from start to finish. I felt that I was looked after very well. All the staff are friendly and helpful.
The GP I saw was absolutely fantastic, she took the time to listen and asked lots of questions. I was treated with kindness throughout. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough
Excellent Service
I saw a Doctor on Wednesday 2nd September and had a call from the Imaging Department on 3rd September and was able to have my Ultra Sound on Friday 4th September.
Physiotherapist Susie was brilliant
Physiotherapist Susie was brilliant, she listened and provided positive guidance on how to continue my recovery from knee replacement therapy. The whole physio team were so reassuring and positive in my recovery from knee replacement surgery.

The people were the absolute bestand the doctor saved me from having surgery. So so happy
Had an appointment booked in record…
Had an appointment booked in record time to see Mr Kinner Davda regarding a foot problem.
The staff and Mr Davda were very efficient, had a consultation then X rays which I had to wait a whole 3 minutes for.
Back to the consultation room and discuss the results.
The whole process and results probably took 30 + minutes and was well worth the money now the NHS has failed.
No having to fill out online forms for my doctor, send a photo, get a prescription for anti inflammatories and then no tests or follow up appointment.
Would definitely recommend the Chiltern Hospital if you can afford to visit.
Your health is worth more than Costa coffees and the latest phone or television.

Felt rushed out of hospital less than 48 hours after major surgery. Pain wasn’t managed well. Some nurses less than empathetic. Some reception staff great others awful. Definitely felt like an nhs patient in a private hospital. Having read my records parts are fabricated. Left feeling very anxious about the whole thing.
