I took a massive gamble by upgrading some of old trusted camera gear and had heard of Clifton Cameras through an online group I am in called COAP which is dedicated to aviation photography and Aled is in the group and has started a dedicated service for members , the whole process was handled with utter professionalism from start to finish from trade in quotes to receiving my new gear before Christmas , I would highly recommend Clifton Cameras to anyone looking for great service all round

In advance of my purchase, which was in the region of £5k in value, I was given impartial and honest advice to suit my particular set of circumstances. This was very much welcomed and expected from customers who had left reviews previously. I was prepared to travel from Essex to Gloucestershire and happy that I did so.

I have had very positive experiences with both in person and online purchases at Clifton Cameras. A special mention to Estelle for her patience and professionalism when I was making a big decision on what lens to choose alongside a new camera, as well as for making the process of selling my own gear as smooth as possible. I felt very comfortable whilst at the shop thanks to Estelle and Jonathan who were very accommodating and made the experience a lot more personable and fun!

My online shopping experience was again positive thanks to Estelle who was very helpful and ready to assist me quickly when I had queries. Later I had to return an item which arrived with a factory fault and she very quickly resolved this issue by organising a next day free pick up from my address.

I have used other camera shops in the past but I have not found any who have been as professional, efficient, friendly and ready to make things right when needed.

First time ordering from them for some Polaroid 600 film. Great price on their website and reasonable shipping costs. Ordered on the 18th December and it arrived the 19th. Well packaged, no fuss, all good.

Great service and the shipping/delivery times were first class. The carrier provided a one hour slot thus no hanging around for hours at home. Goods were well packed in a sturdy box on both purchases I made.

Fantastic service provided by Clifton Cameras and brilliant support from Aled, who helped me upgrade to the world of mirrorless and now helping my Dad too. Bought a Camera (a Nikon D800) on Saturday 15th Dec. and expected delivery this week.
On Monday afternoon (15th) was told that the camera I paid for was already sold, and that ivwas no longer getting the camera.
Was offered at [full price] inferior cameras for the same price and better cameras for a far higher price, with no discount for the Clifton Camera error, on selling a camera that was already sold !!!
VERY POOR..... AS I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASED NIKON D800

Was struggling to find size/spec binoculars, gift for my partner. All other retailers were higher priced or poorer quality. Was so pleased to stumble upon a uk retailer of good quality, fairly priced binoculars. Easy purchase and prompt delivery was great too. Haven’t been able to check them out properly, high risk of arrest using them in this area 😂. All wrapped up ready for recipient now.

They are incredibly professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the delivery company lost my parcel, which caused me a lot of anxiety about whether I would receive insurance and how my case would be handled. They assisted me by investigating the issue with the delivery company and ensured that the item I wanted would be kept for me until the insurance process was completed, so I could still purchase what I originally intended. They are a trustworthy and communicative team. They were also very flexible, kindly agreeing to meet earlier in person due to sudden circumstances.
