My harrowing divorce proceedings dragged on for way longer than we originally anticipated and each new hearing meant having to relive the painful memories of the marriage. Nazia's sensitivity and professionalism kept me going. She was always on time and on top of things and despite the other party's attempts to topple the case against me, Nazia firmly turned it on its heels with strong technical points that came from her experience and proficiency, leaving the other party to only complain about housekeeping. I am grateful for Nazia's friendly and empathetic approach at all times which helped me remain calm throughout the lengthy proceedings, it was as if she walked the whole way right by my side. Despite that, Nazia's fees were quite affordable and she always gave me more than the value for my money. I pray that people do not need to go through a divorce, but if at all anybody lands in a situation like that, I would highly recommend Nazia's sound and clean advice, and her expertise to get the verdict one deserves.

I engaged on a journey with City of London Solicitors what seems a long time ago now, over two years. Little did we know just how difficult my former spouse was going to be and certainly not how long.

I am grateful to the team for all the support and encouragement that has eventually seen me through what was a divorce from hell - or your standard divorce for men, as I've come to understand it. A special shutout to Nazia, I would have given into my ex unreasonable demands some time ago, had it not been for her encouragement. Support included fending off abuse from the vindictive other party.

Nazia has helped me with submitting paperwork and preparing for hearings regarding divorce, regarding children and financial settlement. And finally, she also represented me and communicated with courts regarding the four civil claims my former partner has filed. I am an Italian Citizen living in the UK since 1999. I thought I am resident in the UK automatically because I have lived in the UK since January 1999 cooking and baking for British People for 25 years. However, on 6 October 2024 Home Office raided the restaurant where I work. The Immigration Officers told me I am illegal in the UK. They confiscated my passport and told me to leave the UK as you are illegal. I started seeking legal advice. I saw few solicitors who told me you cannot succeed because you never applied for NINO in 25 years and because you did not apply before 9 August 2023. However, I then came across Bledar Meti at City of London Solicitors. He cross-examined me, requested documents from me, helped me apply for NINO and the same day he submitted my EUSS application. Today 19 November 2024, let alone that he secured me leave to remain in the UK, but he managed to secure me Indefinite Leave to Remain. Thank you Bledar Meti at City of London Solicitors. You are a fantastic man, devoted person and helpful individual. You lived my experience as if this is your problem and focused on helping me.
