I was put forward for 2 roles, the first I was given the wrong time for the teams meeting, which I was 30 minutes late for and the company then didnt proceed ro rearrange the conversaton. i didnt get the other job but promised feeback, over a week late the person (Eden) was fobbing me off with excuses as to why she cannot give me a call, one of witch was "there was a problem with the trains", how does this effect you ability to make a 3 minutes phonecall? Tried calling the office, no on picks up, not a brilliant experience at all.

I’ve never experienced a more disorganized or unprofessional interaction with a recruiting firm. They initially reached out to me about a role they were urgently trying to fill and scheduled an interview time. Then, oddly enough, after confirming the meeting, they sent over “pre-screening” questions and gave a 24-hour deadline to respond—or they’d cancel the interview.

I completed the questions on time and received confirmation that I was cleared to move forward with the scheduled interview. A few days later, without warning, I received another message saying my answers were “not appropriate” and the interview was cancelled.

This kind of behavior is not only confusing—it’s completely unprofessional. Poor communication, contradictory messages, and a total lack of accountability. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how they operate with clients. I strongly recommend avoiding this firm altogether.

Sending Spam/phishing messages, dont know how they got my details so must be really desperate for business.

I contacted Cobalt at around the beginning of August. The person I was working with told me there are great chances to find a job and that they have a big list of contacts that they can write to.
In the end, there was no help provided.
Communication is not efficient at all. They did not answer my messages regularly and did not answer the phone calls.
Had to find a job myself then, as by mid-September I still heard nothing from them.
Would not say it is a scam company, but I could not feel that people there are eager to help you.

What sort of employment agency thinks the only method of communication is Whatsapp and wont use email. Doesnt feel right to me

My experience was smooth and very quick. I got a new job within a month (excluding my one month notice). Cobalt managed to find the perfect position for me on the first job offer. Thanks to Will and Charlie, I managed to get the best advice and support all the way through.

I have worked with Adam as both a candidate and also a client recruiting.
Adam really gets the culture and fit of each individual as well as the needs of the company. He will not put people forward unless he knows that they are good for the role. As a candidate he is more than happy to offer career advice even if it ultimately doesn’t benefit him. I’ve yet to meet another recruiter with such a strong set of ethics. He won’t mess you around, is honest and genuine. Quite simply he is a legend and long may I continue to work with him, I’d highly recommend him to anyone needing staff or looking for their next role.
