Shocking. They refuse to correspond with me via e-mail due to a cancelation of my training course for a change in circumstances. This has been going for 5 weeks now.

Anytime I phone in I am met with the same person who tries to twist the words of what I am saying, deflects any kind of responsability and their responce is I will pass the message on I can not do anything more then that. Their Branch manager has tried to help me and e-mail the relevent people but they seem content on ignoring their e-mails as well, The director says he is no longer the director depsite still being registerd as it on the company house, they just seem to thrive on creating confusion when it comes to refunds to avoid paying it.

I have had to resort to legal procedings to get my money back as they do not adhere to their own refund policy and the way they are conudcting themselves is criminal. I shuder to think what it would be like to work under a company like that.

A disaster from day one due to the lack of communication in between contracted staff and managers/directors, the dates asked for were wrong only to be given notice of a new course the day before then only by chance then having my course cancelled with no notice whatsoever, causing me to book with a more ethical, reputable and organised company.

My two emails were ignored as were my requests for legible paperwork so I could study well before the course started.

I am now more than a month on and have no refund…nothing but Silence

I have also written to many third parties in this matter as my emails for information and a response falls on deaf ears.

I am still unsure where my data has been sent as they have not confirmed if they have such a licence to hold, share or use this.

Careless so avoid this company at all costs.

My experience I worked for Cobra security as an instructor for there CP courses for nearly 6 months. The problem is they dont pay there instructors and ended up owing me 5K which I have still not been paid. After talking to other instructor I have since found out this is common practise for this company. Sia need to investigate these types of company.

I completed the Close Protection Top-Up Course with Cobra UK Security and was satisfied with the overall delivery and structure. The course content was relevant and aligned with current industry standards. The instructor demonstrated solid operational knowledge and ensured all participants were adequately prepared for the assessment, both in theory and practical components.

Logistics and course administration were handled efficiently, and communication with the management team was clear and prompt at all stages.

I have very good experience with cobra security UK. I did close protection course with cobra .They have professional and experienced instructors . Their management is excellent from top to bottom .I really recommend cobra .

Excellent teaching real life experiences the best in the industry

I recently finished the CP course with Cobra, and I must say, our instructor Nick Player was exceptionally professional, engaging, and inspiring. Mitch also contributed significantly to creating a positive classroom atmosphere. Additionally, Theresa and Ian provided outstanding communication, ensuring all my questions were addressed promptly. After spending countless hours researching close protection courses, I can confidently say that choosing this one was the right decision. I have no regrets at all!

Just completed the close protection course and loved it. Nick Player and the team are world class and the course content is both interesting and fun. Absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a career in the industry

Ms Theresa Wood a Fantastic lady with great Skills and experiences fantastic unique style of teaching really inspired me

I attended my close protection training course with Cobra UK in November 2024 and found the material course design and tutors both knowledgeable and helpful.

Teresa Woods was excellent in providing first aid and CP preparation material for the course, and Ian Carvell with his wealth of experience was brilliant in breaking things down into simple common sense language, which aided In the understanding in order to pass the course. Mitchell Atkinson was our trainer and provided all the necessary help and assistance to absorb all the complex material required to work on a task.

I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to learn Close Protection from those with expert knowledge of the industry.

It’s a five stars in my opinion.
Kev and Nick have been really helpful at showing practical example whilst talking about the legislations that regulate the private security industry. Theresa meanwhile has been really kind to help me through the registration online the course, and all paperworks.
It is important for me to be able to work without the fear of being caught in legal action for events happened whilst working as a security operative.
Also it was a great opportunity to learn about new safer physical intervention that may be used in the worst case scenarios as last resource. In all, COBRA uk has helped me growing in my profession, and for me is crucial. I can only say that their manners have been exceptional throughout, and I would recommend the company to anyone.

The course was great, Sean was the instructor and he was awesome. He explained everything in easy to understand language. He went in to detail where it was needed. Examples and real life instances were discussed. The operations on the course were well run, 100% recommend this course with Cobra.
Try and do your FREC3 rather than the first aid at work level 3 though, you’ll need FREC to work in this industry.

Excellent well presented course.
The content, instruction, the delivery and knowledge passed over is one of the better courses I've attended.

I was quietly dreading the compulsory CP top up course, however I couldn’t be more wrong, the administration was on point and the trainer (nick) was very knowledgeable and experienced, running the course very well, treating everyone with respect.
