In Engels: Comic Con No Refund For No Guest Autograph

In Engels:

TL;DR: Guest and fan management is terrible, and you will NOT receive a refund if you don't get an autograph

The May 2025 Edition in 's Hertogenbosch, Neil Newbon was there for 2 days (which was merged into just Saturday). The line was extremely long, and they deactivated everyone else's tickets for sale but his. It's well known he's high in demand for both photos and autographs, so why this was allowed the entire Saturday is beyond me.

I arrived at the line, which happened to be the "end" and dragged a stupid line ender/divider with another person for a total of 4 hours at the request of the volunteers. At some point, the guests left for a panel, came back to do photos which went over schedule, and came back for autographs. By the time the con was over, there were easily another 100 of us. I couldn't stay more than the 30 minutes I already did, and I was turned away by a con management anyways due to the length of the line and was informed by him and the info booth up front twice it would auto-refund in 14 days (I gave it a month).

I did not receive that refund.

I emailed them from after the con until a few days ago 11 times and 2 Instagram messages, before CCing in all their public emails to get a response with all my relevant details for a refund. After the final, most recent, email: the lied and said Niel finished the line. In technicalities, he did because they sent away many of us. But if they didn't, he would've been there all night, I'm sure. He did his best despite how they treated the guests.

I know it's not just me, you can google around and find plenty of complaints either on the lines, no refund, the poor experience, or more on this day.

I, and many I've reached out to, will not be going to this comic con, or thos related to this company again. If I could give this a 0 out of 5, I would. At this point, it's about the principle of the matter that they lied, ignore, block people who complain, and scam people of their money (not providing services and overselling, refusing to refund money).
