Been using them for a few months. I get the cash back as stated in emails and cash out to my Venmo. Love them!

Been using them for years for online coupon codes and the last couple years for their cash back program. Also finally downloaded the retailmenot browser extension for Chromebook this year (it's kind of like using the app but on your Chrome browser).
I really like the browser extension, since it makes it easier to check if coupons are valid before bothering with them, since there's some expired and invalid ones, and the extension just tests all the coupons at once for you.
The cash back program is good, it works and gives it back faster than most other programs (either days or a month depending on how long it takes the store to confirm). Sadly it just doesn't apply to 98% of the stores I use! But I do like that it can be sent directly to paypal or your bank account. But if I find I even use it once a month or less it's still worth it.
I don't know if maybe a lot of people are having issues with it working because maybe they are using pop-up blocker, or not actually going through the retailmenot site to use the cash back option if they don't have the app or extension. I found if I try to use another deal site with it, like honey, or rakuten, it'll automatically disable the retailmenot cash back, so that can be an issue also, so beware that you are following the rules precisely, and decide which app/site will get you the most cash back. It's a bit confusing at first with all the different app options out there and they all have different rules, but if you want maximum deals it's really worth it. I saved just a little under $100 in my first year using the extension. And like I said, that coupon finder button is the frickin bee's knees

I had found better coupons on RxSaver (I believe this is a division or RetailMeNot) and tried to use them for Rx at Safeway. The Pharmacist, on 2 separate occasions, for 2 different Rx said the price was different (MORE) than the coupon. I had contacted RxSaver about this and first they said it may have not been the same drug, dosage or quantity. Most people would just give up but I followed up confirming it was correct and after 2 more email exchanges, one where I had to confirm that it was the current coupon, called up that day, a customer service rep said they would contact Safeway and get back to me. They never did. I just refilled the Rx again today and it as the same higher price than the current coupon.
I will be going back to GoodRx. Even if the price is higher, I will at least know how much it will be before I get it.

I have also tried to use RetailMeNot coupons and have never been able to find one that was valid.

I suspect the 5 star reviews were written by employees.

I tried to use their cashback portal since they offered a 8% back on newegg purchase. I verified every detail when placing the order and made sure I followed the instruction. Upon finishing order, I did see an entry with "?" mark indicating the purchase was traced. I felt good since I knew it was gonna take a while before the cashback shown up. However, days passed, I didn't see any update. I sent emails a couple of times but got completely no answer. Today, the cashback entry was disappeared. My conclusion, please never use retailmenot for cashback. This website is scam!

Been trying to use this site for years. I've never had a coupon work. They say they try to verify their coupons... obviously that is incorrect.

Note... after receiving a response from retailmenot, I'd suggest they review the posted coupon codes for accuracy prior to them hitting their live site.

If I could give this company zero Stars I would! This company began delivering the grocery ads into my driveway about 8 to 12 months ago. I'm not 100% sure the time frame I just know that when the post office delivered them I always had them in my mailbox on Tuesdays. I have made too many phone calls to count to Retailmenot because I have not received my ads with the exception of three times. I have always been told that my delivery is on Tuesdays. I run a grocery shopping business for stay-at-home seniors and I must have the ads on Tuesdays so that I can be at the stores when they open first thing Wednesday mornings because that's when the ads take effect. I have left numerous messages on a recording and with the women answering the phone at their toll free number to please have a supervisor call me. In all these months I have not received one single phone call until today, Tuesday. I called this morning because I had not received my ads again as usual. The girl on the phone told me she would have the ads brought out to me today, again this is Tuesday. I called back at approximately 4:30 p.m. because I had still not received my ads. I told her how upset I am and that if I lose my business I will be speaking with an attorney. I have already lost one customer but I still shop for 14 stay at home seniors. I need my Tuesday afternoons to plan my Wednesday shopping day and to collect money from my senior customers to be able to do that shopping with. I am not financially independent and cannot pay for their groceries up front and collect from them later. For the first time I had someone return my phone call. This man proceeded to tell me that my delivery day is on Wednesdays. Yet even his office today said they were sending out the ads and again this is Tuesday. Someone is not being truthful. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and I will be complaining to the stores that I do weekly business with that the company that they have delivering their advertisements is a fly-by-night endeavor and is not seen to their best interest. RetailMeNot and their lack of service is going to kill my business.

Every single time I ever attempt to use ANY code from their site, it ALWAYS comes back with a sorry invalid code response. I can try every code for just 1 site and they all say the same thing even though they list x number of uses today. The site is a scam and it should be shut down or at the very least be hijacked with a massive virus to wreck their servers. They serve absolutely no purpose to anyone for anything other than cookie tracking.

I have used Rakuten (was Ebates) for years with great success. They credit my account nearly immediately and send quarterly checks without fail. I cannot say this about Retailmenot. I have received zero cash back. Like other reviewers, Retailmenot has stated that the vendor did not approve my purchase and that I would have to submit receipts and proof of purchase. Who has time to do this? What a fraud. Do yourself a favor and use Rakuten. And, no, I am not affiliated with them in any way. But I abhor companies like this who abuse consumers trust and clearly have no intention of paying out what they promise.

UPDATE:
Retailmenot just replied to my review that their service works 99% of the time. However, of all of the many shopping trips I opened (approximately 10-20 before I gave up and stopped using their site), literally 0% paid any cash back. So I'm not sure where they get their numbers. I'm guessing they pull them out of thin air or some other less mentionable location...

Get lots of emails from them. Ignore all my attempts to contact them.

Not an honorable company. You have to wait 45 or more days before you get your cashback.
If you wait the 45 days before you contact them, I hope you kept ALL emails from the company to want to get cashback from. You have to keep all the emails until you get your cashback. That can be 45 days or more. If you have to write in for your refund, you have to attach the confirmation email from the company you did business with, even if you use *their* confirmation email which has all the same information. If you send them their email you still have to send the confirmations. Their site acknowledges that you made a purchase through one of their sponsored merchants, but you still have to fight for the cashback.
I have had problems with a few different purchases, written in with proofs and they promised that they would manually add my cashback. I trusted them to keep their word and got rid of all the backup. Only to find out later, no added cashback. I have lost probably less than $10 cashback, but I can use that.
Please!! Do not trust them. I cannot speak for other cashback companies, but I know that this one in not honorable.

I would like to change my review of RetailMeNot but cannot. I got a reply from them stating things that were already on their site. “It’s not our fault. It’s theirs. Or yours. Or anyone else’s but ours.” I have already canceled my account with them, first making sure that I got my cashback due me. If other cashback companies can give you cashback in less than 45 days without the hassle, I still can’t understand why they have such a problem.
Has anyone else read all the reviews? More negative than positive. As one reviewer stated – GO TO RAKUTEN. There are no problems with them.

I always shop on retail me not. I earned $98 back. I do not know why people are saying its not working it definitely works for me. I love it.

I havent got a single deal that works but yet it says theres 100s of people who used it today. Stop capping those numbers are fake and i think the whole thing is fake too

I received an email from Retail Me Not saying my rebate account has been red flagged. When I contacted them I was given a generic answer of there was suspicious activity on my account. I was very concerned that my account had been hacked because I hadn’t used the rebate account in over 2 years. I sent all the info to customer service that was asked of me and was told again my account was suspended and I would no longer be able to qualify for rebates. I continued to ask why and was never given an answer and now they have ignored my emails.

What a waste of a site. I have for a few years been referring to this site while shopping online to see if there are any available coupons. They have coupons for all sorts of sites/retailers, large and small, but I have only ONCE found a code that actually works here. I also dislike that every time a visitor clicks on the button to See or Copy a code, the site is programmed to open the retailers site in a new tab (I'm assuming pay-per-clicks or affiliate marketing is to blame for this behavior), while also reloading the page and popping up a modal/box where visitors must click a Copy button, again.

Garbage site set up simply for selling ads and tracking visitors. Don't let them waste your time.

You'd do better just setting up a garbage email account to sign up for a discount code directly from a retailers site.

This review is for the % cash back offers. I have found that about 50% of the time, I have to contact their customer service to receive the cash back. At that time, you need to provide proof that you actually made a purchase so keep your email confirmations. Also, they usually blame me for not following their link (which I always make sure to do) or the company for not notifying them of the purchase. They also make you wait 45 days before they will do anything. I guess they are counting on many people not remembering after 6 weeks especially since it's just a few bucks.

The retailmenot extension always finds me more discounts than manually scavenging through coupon codes. I am quite impressed by their coupon codes and cash back! I don’t know why people are posting negative reviews for invalid coupon codes...that’s going to happen! Done coupon codes will work, some won’t because they’re either expired or user-submitted. People also need to realize that some websites don’t really have coupons so you’ll be less likely to find coupons for then even with the extension. I’ve only had positive experiences with the extension. Keep those coupons coming!

Will not let me collect my cashback! So they got paid for my clicks, but they won’t give me the money that I earned. They keep telling me to put in a valid phone number and then get the text validated and it still will not let me move on to collect my money that I’ve earned. I will be contacting the attorney general right away!!!!

I cannot get rid of their junk mail which I never signed up for. I hope someone starts a collective law suit.

Hrblock software, retailmenot sell $35(after 35% discount). Same time, Amazon, Walmart sell same is only $22, retailmenot should lower than 1 star.

NOTHING EVER WORKS! Stores don’t accept the codes online or in person! This has been taken over by some other company in Nigeria I’m guessing?? Because it used to be decent ...
