I Use Other Price Comparison Sites, But CtM Is Often The One I Purchase Through
It's important to be honest and admit that I use other price comparison websites, and subscribe to the Money Saving Expert newsletter. However, in recent years I have found financial products through Compare the Market (CtM) on several occasions. In this instance it was household insurance. My previous insurer was also chosen through CtM and I had renewed with them for several years due to satisfactory service and reasonable premiums. As an example, in 2025 CtM offered a premium as a new customer of my then insurer that was only 1p less than the renewal premium I had been offered. This year the renewal was notably higher and I was not aware of any good reason for that. The CtM website is easy to use. Following links to view more detail on quotes works, and if one backs out it returns to the list of quotes one started at rather than turning into a doom loop of error pages. Some may think that isn't a big thing, but with a fuse as short as mine it's a major plus. An acceptable quote was found and it was fairly straightforward (I'm not going to say "easy" - with insurance nothing is easy) to complete the steps to proceed with a new policy.

All the work was done for me
All the work was done for me, it’s just a case of selecting the option which best suits. I had changed my car since last year and found it a little annoying that I had to re-enter all my details which hadn’t changed in order to update my quote. It would have been simpler if I could have changed my car details and reviewed everything else.

I am so delighted with CtM
I am so delighted with CtM. It is aggravating and annoying when every insurance company you deal with tries to exploit their customers with price increases at every renewal, and all the benefits go to new customers.
I have determined to use CtM at every renewal for every insurer and it will probably save me in excess of £1000 per year for the same cover.

My Car Insurance
My Car Insurance was due in just under a month and compare the market had saved my details from last year, I checked & didn't need to update them , so they sent there best quotes by e mail Found the best one for me & saved a little & got better cover than last years. So all in all very happy .
