Great company to deal with. Comms were fantastic and the delivery guys were awesome.

Extremely unprofessional.
Every single team that came through my door was complaining about the other team’s job.
The packers were complaining about not the right packaging being delivered. The picking team was complaining about the way things were packed or not packed at all. The delivery team was complaining about the container not being stacked properly.
They left my stuff outside in the rain and went to lunch. They did not deliver all my stuff. When I enquired about the missing items, I was told that they have other customers and they will get to it when they have time. When I said “How much time do you need, it’s been almost three weeks”, I was told that I should learn how to speak to their staff.
They opened my plastic containers because they saw somethig interesting.
They did not finish assembling my single bed (dis-assembled by them), covered it with the mattrass and told me “all done”. That resulted in an injury.

They stopped replying to my emails. There are too many other things, but it would take too long to list/

The thought of another international move was quite daunting after the last horrible experience with a rival company. So glad I went with my gut feel this time and didn't get sucked in with all the glossy brochures, stats and promises. Really happy we went with Conroy Removals as they were fantastic from beginning to end.  Good communication, competitive on pricing. Kept us informed on status of our shipment. Excellent guys doing the heavy lifting both in NZ and Australia. You can tell when your household items have been handled with care. 

Majority of large items arrived damaged, fabric items had black mark stains from moving and an item was dropped when unloading.

I would never ever use them and suggest no one should.
Most expensive, horrible service, with trucks not maintained.
They came 1 hour late, 2.5 hours truck breakdown and would not consider a reasonable compensation.
Disturbed all our family plans.
Suggest not to use them.
I should be adequately compensated for the misadventure created due to late arrival by 1 hour, and 2.5 hours of breakdown.
Your Auckland office is uncorporative.
I could have held back the payment, but I did the right thing by making a payment, and now it it is your turn " TO DO THE RIGHT THING"
IT IS YOU WHO SHOULD CONTACT YOUR AUCKLAND OFFICE TO GET THIS SORTED,
INSTEAD IF KICKING ME AROUND.

Our movers were amazing! They did the bulk of the hard work and made moving stress free. 100% reccomend these guys

When I cot a call from the company, the friendly gentleman spoke my African language I was very surprised to speak to him.Thank you. I did have some boxes that was damaged but luckily nothing was missing. the only problem was that 3 of my mirror was broken.1 of my boxes was missing but I did get the missing one 3 days later.

Very quick, friendly, efficient men on the job. Stress-free move with no fuss. Admin lady was also very helpful and kept me up to date with progress.

Absolutely terrible. Destroyed valuable mid century European furniture which had been in my family for over 60 years. A pity as our family had used them in the past with no issues.

Very professional! The team was always very responsive and available whenever we had a request, and they were strongly focused on results and customer satisfaction. Communication and coordination were handled with great transparency once the ship had arrived, and they also anticipated and supported us with the administrative tasks that needed to be completed. Well done! 👏

Here’s why:
Accurate Pre-Move Assessment(10+/10): As a middle class family, to ship our household goods of a middle sized house from Melbourne AU to Christchurch NZ we had four quotes from the most recommended,famous and popular sea freight service companies in Australia, Conroy AU’s assessment was the most accurate in volumes of cubic metres (matched our measurements), while another quote was three times of Conroy’s. Conroy Justin U. was quick and precise to the point, arriving on time, starting assessing immediately while answering our questions, and leaving quickly with a detailed quote from his colleague Claire A. in a few hours. Their professionalism and efficiency were impressive.

Affordability(10/10): Conroy AU’s quotation was pleasantly accepted by us due to their accuracy in volume although another was very competitive.

Packing & Uplifting (10+/10): Conroy three men came with a container truck like Justin U., arriving on time, packing and uploading immediately, non-stop, two hours later they were gone, job wonderfully done. Exceptionally professional and efficient.

Clear Procedures (10+/10): Conroy Amy M. provided simple instructions for filling the forms to ensure a smooth removal, her guidance and patience were heartwarming.

Well-kept Communication (10+/10): Conroy AU Tory D. and Conroy NZ Susan W. kept us informed of every event from Pre-Shipment Advice, ship arrival, quarantine status and delivery. New Zealand Susan W. was brilliant, kind and understanding, she arranged delivery as per our request and post-delivery rubbish (boxes and wrapping stuff) collection. When I called them, they immediately knew me based on my phone number so making things easier and quicker.

Prompt shipping and delivery (10+/10): Our Shared container shipping supposed to be a few months, but arrived in Christchurch within a month from uplifting from our house, super excited we were, thanks to the Christchurch local Conroy dispatch team, they were super commendable, delivered timely, quickly - two lovely girls (Gracie and Liv) - due to all boys busy on others - immediately after quarantine cleared so we could sleep less nights on the ground. Grateful to them and Susan W.!

All in all (10+/10): extremely happy and satisfied with both Conroy AU and Conroy NZ, would not hesitate to recommend Conroy as a top option for sea freight service. And we have been amazed by their quality services, high level performances from both the sides (AU & NZ).

Our experience with Conroy Removals was a great one. Outstanding service from start to finish. Experienced movers made moving from Auckland to Hawkes Bay, stress free. We happily recommend Conroy Removals.

We gave the movers a very hard job to do by having such a large household (4 adults, 2 dogs, a home office and a garage and workshop) and it all went surprisingly well. Only a few minor dings on some furniture but everything survived in the shift from Auckland to Wellington. The guys packing the van in Auckland were fantastic and did such a professional job, and the team unloading the van in Wellington were such a pleasure to deal with. Also thanks to Scott who came round to estimate the job, and Rachel who answered all of the queries. We would definitely recommend Conroys, but we're hoping we don't have to shift again! That is the only negative thing we would say is - shifting is a terrible thing to do to yourself!

Our move was a personal stress for my partner and I following some serious surgery in Tauranga the week before and the fact that we were not as prepared as we should have been, arriving home the night before the move. The Conroys team were truly wonderful; they were mindful, patient , kind and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they took all of the pressure and stress away. Moving our baby grand piano, plants and large pieces of antique furniture without a hitch, they simply worked until everything was done. We could not be happier and our sincere thank you to David Conroy for always having the best team for the job. Nathan, Brooke and our wonderful team on the truck, you guys rock!!! The team collecting in Hastings excelled throughout the day and we thought it wouldn’t be possible for a different team in Christchurch to match the level of attention to detail and energy but they did!!! What a privilege to have such awesome individuals helping with a move across the country. Please use Conroys for your next move; we wouldn't use anybody else. Highly recommended!!

Auckland based crew were unprofessional & did not take care of my furniture when loading container. Arrived unprepared. Numerous items of furniture were damaged through negligence. Managed to loose my ladder on route to Napier. Sent a report on my concerns to Branch Manager. Never heard back. Napier base crew were so helpful & did a great job unloading.

Initial contact was good, they were easy with arranging for the pickup and delivery dates (Auckland -> Christchurch). Unfortunately some furniture and boxes were damaged during transport. As far as I understand, the items were not secured properly in the shipping container... Pick up and delivery were quick. The workers who delivered told us that they were not surprised with what happened as the Auckland guys seem to be known for not loading and packing carefully.
I wish i had left a positive comment, but this is what happened to us. IMHO, it could have been easily avoided.

We can't recommend Conroy's enough. From getting a quote through to when our household items were delivered, we received excellent service, and it was great value for money compared to other moving companies.

Fantastic service. Movers were great to deal with from pick up to delivery organised every thing from gisborne nz to port Douglas QLD. The office is very responsive. Excellent communication.
