Working in porn.

Working in porn, or dealing drugs with a bunch of idiots is bad enough, but it's worse because everyone there has a criminal history.

I used to work at a Convergys call…

I used to work at a Convergys call centre in London Ontario from November 2016 to February 1 2017. Let me tell you it's a VERY HORRIBLE place to work. They make you work 10 hour shifts with ONLY a 30 min lunch and 2 15 minute breaks. And they schedule your lunch and your breaks and if you don't take them when you are scheduled to, you get yelled at. And they pay you very little pay and make you take abuse from customers who call in, and if you say anything about the abuse from customers, they turn around and blame you even though you don't anything wrong and gave to take the abuse. And their hiring turn over rate is ridiculous. They hire SO MANY people and ar least half if those people quit after working there must've one month. My suggestion: DO NOT WORK HERE! HORRIBLE place to work!

There is issue with company transport

There is issue with company transport,
Boundaries are limited as not fir but for new employees & need to fight with them even for transport & a person working over here more than a year is still a new employee.
No system at all for working, no management, poor managerial skills, needs to talk alot but I know there is no use of it.

Unlawful business practise

The worst company I have or will ever work for in the future. After offering me an unconditional internal transfer as a counter offer to HSBC external call centre job they made sure I was royally screwed over the recruitment team are quick and manipulative to get you to reject external offers for their internal roles by offering free Convergys university courses for finance and admin they also claim to offer better hours. All lies with excuses after excuses to not send email confirmation they will make sure they take that job offer internally from you over lame and unacceptable business practises.Hope someone sues Convergys to high heaven

Hsbc campaign Convergys regent place

Absolute joke of a company, hsbc should be ashamed having these clowns deal with there customers half the staff have not been reference checked the training is laughable I would not work or do businesS with any company who associates with them. Security breaches! Team leaders slagging clients off! Trainers who don't have a clue about finance! Sub standard working conditions! If hsbc had anything about them they would ditch these idiots.

Service bordering on fraud!

It is my opinion that Convergys are operating in the UK under the very good reputation of their US counterparts, but missing the crucial ingredient of integrity and professionalism.

Their 'About us' section on their website is fantastic - "Convergys is a people business. We are driven by a team of more than 130,000 employees, each with a story to tell. We embrace our diversity, and recognize that our differences strengthen us as a company and as a service provider."

It filled me with all kinds of trust and excitement to be working with them. So as a start-up company I felt that my investment, to run a lead generation campaign, would be in great hands. Until I started receiving the data from them, that they apparently verify. Their UK Prize website is where all the leads are supposedly coming from but it was clear straight away that instead of receiving qualified leads, I was being given data from unsuspecting individuals. The phone calls that I then had with the individuals ranged from irate (because I had their contact info) to down right threatening! These were NOT qualified leads.

I persevered for months from October through December believing what my account manager was telling me and the quality getting better. It never did. So in the New Year I decided enough was enough. I contacted my account manager on 19th January to raise an official complaint and ask for a refund. Eventually I received my money back but not for several months and without chasing time and time again!

I am really disappointed and let down. I hope that by sharing my experience other client's may come forward and share their experiences also. Surely this has happened before!
