After 15 years of using the 40 litre box and gel packs, I have not been able to fault either in any way. When I saw the small 18 litre box at a show, I knew I needed to add one to my kit. Although the 40 litre serves me so well through the warmest months, I find during the winter, I don't need to keep so much food cold whilst away for my usual 2 nights a week as less spoils out of the box. But, things like seafood and fresh meat, I won't risk. I also often carry frozen bait that probably won't get used, but is there just in case, and at the end of the weekend it can simply drop back into the freezer again. Early days so far, but up until now I am loving the smaller box and accessories.

They are a great coolbox I use them for fishing and camping they keep food fresh and cold for days I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cool box

I absolutely love my 18ltr picnic size box, rubber feet, great colour (green), drinks placers on lid, really sturdy handle, really well made, baskets and divider fit perfectly,

Ideal height to sit on. The divider can sit flat on top of two of the Icey-Tek baskets (if you have them, also does it without baskets, it is a snug fit) so you can put stuff on it whilst lid open (lid still closes fully when in place). If you store the divider the flat on top you have it ready to use as a chopping board or just to stack foods on temporarily. Without the divider in its slot the full width and depth can be used for storage in (you can place divider in its slot as the box empties or if you want two compartments). The largest Icey- Tek ice block stands upright at the front of the box and the lid still shuts(so you have cooling top to bottom and a large compartment to store stuff in. You can still fit two wire baskets, but the divider can't be fitted upright or flat, although can be put in loosely diagonally). A two litre bottle of milk fits stood up (if only one basket fitted). There's 175mm height under the baskets so a one litre bottle still fits stood up). The Tourit Quart Pack (equivalent to 3lbs of ice) fits snuggly, flat on top (over two Icey-Tek baskets of fitted) and bottom of cooler and the tourit ice sticks 225mm O/L x 40mm x 30mm can be layed flat where required, but can't standup vertically under baskets, I'm using it so I can take all the food I need for my first evening meal and breakfast etc, so that if I arrive and the weather is terrible, I can plonk the 19ltr cool box straight in my Go Pod and hunker down without offloading my larger cool boxes (also my Go Pod fridge freezer can take 2 - 3 hours to get properly cold when I arrive, so this box allows me to access some some of my food straight away and if off grid leave my other cool boxes undisturbed). I have two other Ice-Tek boxes (the two smaller camping size ones) and they easily keep stiff very cool (or part frozen) for 5 days if you pre-cool boxes and foods stuff and put plenty of ice blocks in (I don't use bagged ice as I don't store booze or like the mess), I don't really need the Go Pod cooler now when on a site but as I've got it it's good to use. Can't think of much I do not like about Icey-Tek cool boxes except my other two boxes don't have protective rubber feet or rubber strips on the bottom and it would be good if there was a protective rubber mat on top ( The cushion is too expensive) as you could sit on it anyway (and it would not be so chilly on your backside and when stacked in your vehicle they wouldnt slide about on the lid so much and scratch the lid if the bottom is a bit gritty. The boxes are heavy before you fill them so be prepared for a free workout when you haul them anywhere. Great boxes, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

Great customer service. When I made a mistake with my order they replied quickly and helped rectify it. Looking forward to trying out the cool box this summer, seems sturdy and well made. So far so good.

It fits in our Mini Cooper’s boot. Having downsized cars we needed a smaller cool box for frozen food, picnics, etc. This is just right for the size of boot we have and performs its cooling role perfectly. The in built handles provide a good grip. The only issue is the locking catches (made of rubber) are a little awkward to use,.
