Avoid at all costs - Takes money and doesn't deliver goods!

Ordered a cover for my Magimix on 23 Sept 2024. Chased it in November 2024 by email and by phone calls and Facebook. Nothing. I chased again in December x 2 and got an email response to say she was making it and it would be sent expedited mail. Nothing arrived. Chased again January 2025, February 2025, March 2025 - no reply at all. Now as it's nearly 6 months, I've just opened a dispute in PayPal to get a refund and had to evidence all my communications to try and resolve this myself. I'd advise anyone to avoid this seller at all costs. She should not be accepting orders if she can't fulfil them. Will be reporting to trading standards. It's a real shame if she is unwell, and I'm sorry for that, but you cannot run a business, take money from normal people, make promises and still not fulfil them.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. Either no reply to emails or just fobbed off. Have been waiting for a refund since November. Can’t claim through PayPal as more than 30 days. Do not order from this company!😡

YET ANOTHER DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

Yet another disappointed customer let down by this seller. Please think twice before ordering as seller has taken money and does not reply to any communications. Currently awaiting for PayPal to refund me. I will update this review if anything changes.
I wish I had saved my money and never ordered.
UPDATE - Refund through PayPal. Still no response from seller.

Another cross and disappointed customer

Another unreceived order placed in September. I sent an email to enquire about the progress of my order but never received a reply. I have spoken to Joanne Stevens twice but felt that I was being fobbed off with excuses as to why my order was not ready, illness, then she said was waiting for lining material for my cover and had another 5 to do before mine. Her telephone number is now unavailable. Very cross and disappointed, and like other customers my money has been wasted. A cautionary word to those thinking of placing an order with this company, Don't! Not fit for purpose.

Another not received & no comms

Unfortunately another not received and no communication to report here.

I contacted Joanne ahead of ordering and received quick and informative information so I thought this would carry on through.

Ordered on the 8th April, now the 22nd May, have sent 3 polite chasers and nothing back.

Never received and No communication

Ordered 18th November 2022 - from Australia - Never received. No reply to polite emails. Today, I found the entry in my transaction account to remind me to never use this service. A great shame, as I was looking forward to covering my lovely appliances, and spent a lot of time considering the fabric to choose etc. A waste of time, money and anticipation.

Terrible service and item never…

Terrible service and item never received. I ordered a mixer cover in November for a Christmas present and chased it up at the beginning of December. Joanne assured me the cover would be ready and delivered in time for Christmas. I emailed again on 19th December and was told the item would be sent royal mail 24 hour tracked the next day. Nothing turned up so I emailed again and got Joanne's out of office until 2nd January and I've had no further communication since. Avoid at all costs.

Excellent customer service and delivery

I had put in an order but forgot to add the colour of the material, after an enquiry with Joanne I realized my mistake, I reordered on 27th December and thought to myself, well it will turn up after Christmas. To my surprise the following day I received an email saying it was on its way, an even bigger surprise it was delivered on Christmas Eve by Royal Mail! I emailed Joanne to thank her for going the extra mile keeping a customer happy!! Well done and thank you.

A good suprise yesterday (29/11/2023)…

A good suprise yesterday (29/11/2023) my order arrived in the morning post. The items fit, the fabric is what I ordered and the quality of fabric and stitching is good. I am pleased.
Coolcozycovers need to keep in touch with their customers. If they have problems or delays just let people know. I will be emailing to thank them for completing my order but will suggest they improve their communication skills.

COOLCOZYCOVERS - SHOCKING COMPANY!!!!!!

I had ordered from this so called company a few years back so thought ordering again wouldn’t be problem. How wrong was I!
First of all I was charged for P&P yet on the website it clearly states that this is FREE in the UK. When I queried this Joanne the owner said that she had to increase her prices and that the only way to do this was to now charge for postage. She needs to change her website as this is clearly wrong practice so I’m looking into reporting this fact.
I paid an extra £10 for a word to be embroidered on the cover, though after finally receiving the cover I realised that there had been absolutely no embroidery done and the cover was blank. I questioned this in an email, she said there was no space on the cover to do this but there are pictures on website showing this, so it is clearly a BLATANT LIE - more like she couldn’t be bothered.
After sending her numerous emails asking for my £10 to be returned with no response I then started receiving emails asking for my bank details. I sent an email and said just put the £10 I was owed in an envelope and post it to me. She said “of course” but I am still waiting!!!
Please don’t waste your money ordering from CoolCozycovers you will be disappointed with the whole service. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!

I never got my cover

Despite the fact that I paid for a tracked package to South Africa, my package was (apparently) sent via normal mail and (predictably) never arrived. I was promised a new cover, after the "I was sick" excuse, but this also was not done and now my emails all go unanswered, even the one where I asked if she was OK as she said she was sick. These people are crooks, please do not use them.

Highly recommended

I have now received my covers (2) and am delighted with them. Joanne's attention prior to commencement of making them was meticulous. Delivery is not fast as all orders as I understand are hand made by a a small company. Nevertheless the wait was well worth while and I would recommend her services to anyone seeking quality at a reasonable price.

My cake mixer cover was ordered mid March and 6 days out from July still not arrived!
After my first enquiry excuse was not enough fabric. Next enquiry she was sick, but 23 May it was finished and awaiting dispatch.
However, despite saying it would be sent airmail to NZ which was what I paid for, here we are on 26 June and no sign of it except for reviews of many other very unhappy customers.
Thank goodness for PayPal!

Absolutely hopeless

Absolutely hopeless, do not purchase from this company, ordered product on 2nd March, followed with email when it did not arrive and was told it was I would receive in couple of days, 3 weeks later called and was told it was ready to despatch, again nothing, registered dispute with Visa and got my money back in a couple of days

No cover received please don't order from this Company they are crooks...

Ordered a Magimix cover November 2022 and still not received in April 2023 despite calls and emails chasing. Paid £39.95 and have not received the goods. I was twice told a bulk order had got lost by a courier and they were behind and would work the weekend to catch up. On another occasion she complained on the phone to me what a pain Magimix covers are to make!! Please don't order goods from this company!!! This is shocking taking people's money and not delivering goods it's fraud. Doesn't even deserve one star.
