The product is not worth the money

The product is not worth the money. I purchased a set of 4 Stronghold ATs 35x12.5r20 and have a little over 10000 miles and they wore out. Wouldn't recommend or will I ever purchase a cooper product again

Cooper Tire Rebates are Bogus

I purchased Cooper Tires through Goodyear and literally selected these tires based on the fact that they qualified for a $75 rebate. The Cooper Tire website for rebates Cooper Tires Promos is extremely glitchy. The first attempt, I submitted everything and nothing would load on the page. So, I revisited it months later, submitted all of the information, and got an email stating the vendor didn't match my invoice I submitted. They gave a link to correct it and it would only allow me to update the invoice which was correct-- but not double check the information I included for the vendor. Turns out, apparently they meant to include Goodyear-- even though it was clearly stated on my Invoice that I received. I included the location where I got the tires installed. SO, it was rejected and now it's not letting me adjust this information or resubmit my rebate claim. There is no email or human I could get in touch with the entire time. Just seems like Cooper is really crossing their fingers you trip up on a technicaility so that they don't have to issue the rebate they lured you in with. Very disappointing--- especially because this was a lengthy process-- so wasted time!

Cooper tire warranty and customer support is shamefully poor

Buyer beware of lousy warranty and poor customer support from Cooper Tire. In January I purchased a set of cooper stronghold from authorized dealer prioritytire.com for $1140. In February After 3 attempts to have the tires balanced I requested warranty from prioritytire.com whom informed me I must pay for a road force test as required by Cooper for warranty consideration. This cost me $90 at the dealership. The report showed one tire is out of spec and cannot be balanced. Now, over 3 months later Cooper says I have pay to dismount the bad tire and ship it to them for evaluation leaving me with a 3-tired truck! They will not give an estimated turnaround time. So now I’ve spent about 50% of the price of another tire in balancing attempts and road force test all for nothing!. Between Cooper tire and their authorized dealer priority tire I feel this is very poor customer support. This is on a 2022 sierra x31. Riding in this truck feels like a constant washboard between 65-75 mph. Why make your customers go through so much hassle and pay for your tests only to make me put my transportation out of commission while I ship you the tire for another evaluation? Obfuscating and toying with your customers is shameful.

You think I would wise up after dealing…

You think I would wise up after dealing with this company once already, but no I bought another set for my rav 4,this company does not really have a warranty on any of thier tires, thier warranty is basically a sham, they will cover your warranty,if you give them more money ,thier prorated warranty is a joke,so you buy a set of tires 4 to be exact for $500,then put 12k on those tires, side walls weather checked ,they will want$700 ore prorated, next time you buy tires, don,t buy tires made by cooper, they hide thier brand behind motormaster, goodyear, etc, they are known for selling defective tires, they use a lower compound additive to thier tires, that's why they don,t last,so thier manufactures warranty means nothing,I was just stupid to be ripped off again, don,t buy car or truck tires from this company, even the service dept where you buy them will tell you they are not the greatest.

Heads up everyone

Heads up everyone.

I bought my kid a set of four snow tires this past fall. We opted for the Cooper Evolution Snow tires even though they were 150-200 dollars more expensive than the alternative. Part of the sting would be taken away by Cooper’s 50 dollar rebate for a set of four.

I should have known where this was going when the online rebate submission was denied. After several attempts, I printed out the form and mailed it in along with the receipt the mechanic gave me for the tires.

Several weeks passed. Occasionally an email would appear assuring me that the claim was being processed. Until last week when I was made aware that my claim was rejected. The reasons: the receipt didn’t have the “model” listed though it clearly says Cooper Evolution. It also demanded a receipt with all 4 corners of the paper showing. Corners? Really?

It occurs to me that Cooper is looking for ANY reason not to honor their lousy 50 dollar rebate. Truth is, I would have purchased the tires even without their skimpy rebate offer of less than 8% of the purchase price. (Talk about throwing around nickels like they are manhole covers). Others have posted the same scam.

I’ve made several attempts to contact management. They aren’t interested.

However, if Cooper Tire spends this much energy in torpedoing their customer’s faith…is there really any concern for your families safety? Pass this warning along if you care about the safety of you freinds and family

COOPER/AVON TYRES WARRANTY NOT HONOURED

Dear Avon(part of coopertyres)
Bought my Renault megane 2019 second hand.
These Avon tyres were already fitted to the front of the vehicle (so I have no redress on the original tyre fitter).
Today a major tyre fitter looked at my tyres and said they are cracking.
The tyres were apparently only manufactured in 2019.
I am disappointed that these tyres are cracking. What is the warranty guarantee on your tyres please? It is very distressing to have to replace tyres that are only approximately 3 years old.
Would you be able to give me 2 new tyres foc?, or a big discount of say 50/75% from yourselves direct to me? These would obviously be fitted by your nominated tyre fitter in Lowestoft Suffolk.
I am a pensioner and have only a state pension to rely on for my income.
Your kind assistance would be appreciated in this regard.
Many thanks.
Regards.
Martin Foster.

Response:
Good Afternoon Mr Foster
Thank you for contacting Avon Tyres with your enquiry.
Our passenger products are covered by our standard limited warranty to the original purchaser, for a period of 6 calendar years from the date of manufacture and are warranted to be  free from defects in material and workmanship in this term. Once the term of warranty is expired all warranties express or implied expire. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim and the benefits of this warranty are non-transferrable.
Given that you are not the original purchaser of the tyres we are unfortunately not in a position to process the claim. We would also suggest that you contact the vehicle seller to see if they are willing to come to some resolution in respect of your issue with the tyres as sold to you.
Kind regards,
Ladrick
Technical Service Team

My response:
Dear Shirley / Ladrick
I see I have not had a reply / response  to my reasonable request.
I feel I have no option left to me but to report this matter to the government  and put postings on Trustpilot,  etc. (Obviously will not be a good  review, unfortunately).
This will be done on Monday  this coming  week.
Regards
Martin.

MY SITUATION VERY SIMILAR TO PREVIOUS POSTER IN AVON REVIEW.
HOPE AVON/COOPER GETS WHATS COMING TO THEM
