This hotel is a disgrace

This hotel is a disgrace. Filthy and infested with bed bugs. Google the hotel to see the true number of negative reviews. I sit here itching with 6 areas of 8 plus bites. Disgusting. The weirdest customer service too. Pay a bit more and stay away to avoid significant discomfort and upset.

Stay away from this filthy hotel

Stay far away from this hotel. The hotel is worn, smells of mold, the rooms are dirty, you can doubt whether the bedding has been washed, you have to ask for towels/toilet paper yourself, no wifi in the room and the worst is probably the staff, who are incredibly rude, yes indeed decidedly rude, doesn't really want to talk or listen

Miserable hotel and shameful Agoda

After writing a first letter of complaint, I decided to write a more accurate description of the problem. I also tried to get in touch by phone, but no reply in any case. It is evident that we are faced by a nonexistent customer service, which means not being willing to take the time to listen, not being able to keep a dialectical interaction, not being able to provide any type of support. No one really took care to read my complaint.

I hoped that at least as a form of courtesy, a reply should be sent to me. But who do you think you are???
This alone testifies a losing approach on the part of this structure, which probably does not even deserve the title of "hotel". This service has shown to be useless, incompetent and careless of the customer's needs. Completely incapable of taking charge of the issue, of having the guts to face the customer but certainly ready to take money opportunistically. In this case, just over € 50, which means that you are a miserable company.

Worst hotel in London

It should be against the law to pay money for a room in here!

There is mould everywhere, a terrible, disgusting smell as soon as you enter the room. There were no windows in my room, and the door was really hard to close. The fact that my "room" was in the basement made me feel super uncomfortable and unsafe. I also do not understand why there was no duvet??? Only a bedsheet and a coverlet.

I have no idea how or even if the shower was working, but I care about my health, and I was too scared to wash my body in here. Everything looks old and dirty, just like someone bought it from a flea market, a haunted house, or a crime scene - from 40 years ago.

I spent the evening watching videos about bed bugs because I finally read the reviews, and some people mentioned them. My own internet didn't work, so I had to leave earlier, as intended. (I don't want to use the public Internet for work)

I stayed in hostels where I paid less and had a much nicer place to rest my head. The mould is awful, breathing normal air is a luxury which isn't possible in that "hotel", I am happy that I stayed only one night in here.

Filthy and falling apart

The sheets were absolutely disgusting, the faucet was falling apart, there were lice and bed bugs. Wallpaper was tearing down a d the window was permanently open and could not be closed. The bathroom could be closed only from outside because the door was falling apart too. We did not recieve the refund that the receptionist said we would and we were forced to look for a new hotel at 1am (we were two 20-year old girls and we did not feel safe, we did not know anyone in London as we were only wisiting). The receptionist was also kind of rude and did not want to let us leave the hotel. I have videos of the bedbugs and lice, did not took a photo of anything else as we wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.

Awful service - Agoda and Corbigoe Hotel

I've booked a hotel in London called Corbigoe Hotel through Agoda website check in the end of may, 2022.

I live in UK and booked this Hotel because I live far from London and my mum came to visit me and I decided to stay in London that will be easier for me to show London for her, so was there, my mother, my friend and I.

When we arrived there the room number 8 (offered to us) was smelling very bad, the carpet was wet, the toilet was impossible to use and there was no towels for having a shower (I have photos to prove). We stay there about 20 min and left because no-one could sleep there.

I had to sleep in my friend's house as was impossible to sleep in that awful room and I sent an e-mail to Agoda and I've attached the pictures as proof and also an Uber receipt that I had to spend to go to my friend's house and to came back to London next day to follow my trip plans.

I asked them my money back as I didn't use the service and caused me a big trouble because I've planned to sleep in London.

They got in contact with the Corbigoe Hotel and told me Corbigoe didn't want to give my money back, so I've paid for a service that I didn't use. Corbigoe Hotel and Agoda don't have any respect with clients.

Don't use the service!!

Poor? Doesn't even cut it

How was my stay poor? Let me count the ways…
I booked via the website directly back in March - twin room for me and my mum - only to turn up on the night of the booking to find they had given us a double room and when we asked for the twin we booked we were told they didn’t have any… ! Once we argued they put us in what I’m assuming is a room no one stays in, right at the top and in the worst condition of any room I’ve ever seen!! We didn’t expect much for budget but this was very close to uninhabitable…
They did offer us an “apartment” that the manager said he would take us to for £20 extra, but as two women we didn’t feel comfortable being taken to somewhere else than what we had booked and agreed with! It had two beds at least, and they were semi-comfortable, however we were not given duvets but instead slept under sheets and comforters like we were evacuees!! The ‘en-suite’ was a cupboard, and a mouldy one at that, with a rusty toilet paper holder and a rusty towel ring (with no towel despite being told the fella would bring one up!!). Furthermore, the door to our room didn’t lock and we felt very uncomfortable with this as the two gentlemen of the staff gave us strange vibes - probably overthinking but we slept with the suitcase against the door in case.
It was nice that they supplied a hairdryer but it was hanging off the wall, the mirror was cracked and the surfaces were so sticky we wanted to cover everything in sanitiser! There was just one plug socket accessible too, and it had the prong of someone’s long lost charger still stuck in it - massive fire hazard! It looked like it hadn’t been dusted in years, though at least the sheets seemed clean and we managed to somewhat sleep. No thermostat and being at the top of the building it was boiling… the toilet was new, but the old was in the middle of the landing.
Needless to say, we left at 6.30am. Just wanted to get out.
I don’t know what I expected for £50, but I do know I can stay in a much better BnB up north for that price!!!
