Initially purchased a size 5 on Amazon, to replace another harness which was rubbing away chest fur and a local dog walker recommended Cosy Dogs fleece. The size 5 did not fit & the next best size, 4, was out of stock. I rang Cosy Dogs direct on the contact number given and spoke to Kevin Jackson, so glad I called! Kevin was so helpful & suggested that for my breed (a Lurcher, Staffy X Greyhound) we may require a custom fit. After a couple of photos sent on email, he suggested a bespoke fit 4/5.5/5 across the 3 sections. This cost nothing further & was posted free, arriving next day. They then accepted my Amazon return.
After trialling for a couple of weeks, I have since purchased 2 more as spares in alternative colours (wine & bottle green that look lovely on chocolate fur), along-with matching collars. The harness works for our daily walks when not using a collar; she can pull when sees a small furry, but this harness supports and her fur has now started to grow back. She is not a constant puller and we don't use a front D ring on this harness. Working so far (although not washed yet). The only (really small) niggle is that the adjustment is a little fiddly to do, but i have only had to do that once, upon initial receipt of each harness and it didn't put me off buying again.

We made contact with Cosy Dogs on Thursday, confirmed sizes and received the new harness on Saturday.
Absolutely brilliant service and the quality is superb.
So good to have such service particularly for a British product.

Lovely harness, fits my dog perfectly.
Unfortunately one of the clips broke after about two years.
Contacted company to ask about possible repair.
Asked to send it back and it was repaired and returned for free and extremely quickly.

Been using a cosydogs harness for a year or so now after my ruffwear harness was chewed. My whippet recently had a fall while running and she was wearing the harness at the time. The hard plastic buckle that sits on the side of the harness during the fall was driven into her side causing a huge wound needing emergency treatment.
I contacted the company to enlighten them to this dangerous design flaw but they insisted that it was not possible that the buckle could have done the injury!
Predictable response but it’s obvious if you fall on something hard while running it’s going to be driven into you skin.
I am writing this as a warning to others that this product is not safe and should not be used in car as it is not crash tested and definitely not to be used while the dog is in motion.

Excellent quality dog harnesses.
Great for sighthound breeds or those with thin skin.
Fair price. Good selection of colours.
Highly recommended!
