Scaffold boards
Scaffold boards. Very poor standard, full of splits and large knots. Would not buy these from here again. My wife took delivery of this,whilst I was at work. She sent me pictures of damaged boards, hit by a fork lift. In fareness to covers once I contacted them they came back and change those 2. Once I came home to use the boards for what I was building
(I am a carpenter) I found all the boards were of very poor standard, if they were for a Scaffold company these would not of been used. I've seen boards that are very old and they are in better condition than these. I suggest you change your supplier as these did not look up to standard although they were banded. Unless you just deliver your lift overs the customers who don't come in and select their timbers.
These were for a job that had to be done that evening so I had to use them, otherwise I would of wanted them all exchanged

We understand how frustrating it must have been to discover the condition of the boards only when you were ready to start work, particularly when the job needed to be completed that evening and exchanging them wasn't a practical option.

Going the extra mile
We visited the show room in Chichester and meet with Darren who when through our quotation with us and helped us make changes and suggested idea we had not thought of. He was really helpful even though we were not his client as Angela had started the quotation process with us. I would highly recommend Darren and Angela and the product with regards to quality and going the extra mile

Arranging delivery
My order got delivered today even though I have had no Prior correspondence with them arranging delivery which is what they said they were going to do, the bognor depot said they probably tried to ring you and left the voicemail even though I have no voicemail so my misses and my next door neighbour that is not very well had to handball it up the side of the house our whilst the driver just unloaded it and drove off. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH

This is not the level of service we aim to provide, I have spoken with the branch to investigate what happened, the team confirmed that they did attempt to call to arrange the delivery, as one of the items needed to be brought into branch to complete your order. In addition, our drivers do also try to call ahead before arrival where possible.
Our standard process is curbside delivery, and I’m really sorry this caused inconvenience on this occasion. We will certainly review this further to see how we can improve communication going forward.

Very flexible on delivery to fit my availability. Driver was extremely helpful too. Product was excellent and reasonable delivery charge. Mush better than household names whose depot is nearer than theirs.

Reliable service every time
I’ve used Covers quite a few times now and they’ve always been spot on. The staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are fair, and deliveries have always turned up when expected.
I’ve never had any issues with orders, and if I need materials for a project, they’re now the first place I check. Would definitely recommend them.
