The last such Philips lamp lasted approx. 25,000 hours. Previous, cheaper, non-Philips brand lasted about a tenth of that. There is no substitute for quality. Note: In a fit of stupidity, flourescent tubes have been withdrawn from UK and EU so you will be lucky to get these any longer.
