A year ago I brought an Apple Computer for 2108.50p from Currys/PCWorld. It was on a Buy Now Pay Later arangement with, as I thought Currys. I had ayear before paying. On the aniversary I went to pay and found that I was paying Creative Finance and not Currys. I had never heard of Creqative Finance and was never told by the salesman at Currys. I knew that if I did not pay on time there would be charges. It now transpires that Creative require an interest payment of £565. I have att3empted to contact Creative by phone and by there email message box. This is clearly a 'mis selling' by Currys and an extortion by Creative. If I had known of the interest I would have got a Bank Loan.
Disgusting...was given 14 days to cancel my agreement...i have cancelled goods...but finance company wont cancel my loan...been trying since day 2....still no acknowledgement of request...
I can only advise you to stay away from this company, i called to pay my bill, they took my card details and said transaction was unsuccessful, 3 times they did it, Then i check my bank statement and see all 3 transactions had come out my account, at first they denied all knowledge of it, i told them i had the proof in the bank statements, allpayments to CRATIVE FINANCE, i was spoken to extremely rudely by a man with an aggressive tone, i sasked to speak to the manager and he informed me he was not just a manager, he was the director of the companyy! What a way to run a business. absolutely awful. I have contacted my bank to claw the money back they stole, i am also going to the ombudsman, as they did nothing to fix the situation, never mind an apology, and to be verbally attacked by the owner of the company is outrageous, I am appalled by Motorkitty, . UPDATE this company just gets worse, when i call them, all my numbers get transfered to an answermachine that says. Thankyou for calling, all our people are dealing with other telemarkerters, we have put you call in a queue that will never be answered, heres some terrible music while you wait,.... This company is utterly the worst i have dealt with. UPDATE! They reported me to the police for harrassment because i contacted them on facebook. I told the police to arrest me but they wouldnt as they had no grounds, Pity as i would of loved to get the media involved, A complete joke of a company, Happy to take your money, then block your phone number, then report you to the police if you contact them on social media, An utter shambles of a company, Please please please do not use these people, they are the worst, go somewhere else for your own sake.
If you have an excellent credit score do not waste your time with this company. I too wanted to get a Asda credit card but was refused which was the first time ever and currently have 994 on Experian etc. I was puzzled so rang them and was indirectly told that I didn’t meet their criteria, in others words they don’t want people that pay on time or don’t miss any payments as they are not profitable. So I took a hit to my credit score for nothing. I have since got another cash back card with another provider no problem at all. Go figure!
Being a regular shopper, both in person and online, and using their petrol station, I thought I would apply for the Asda credit card, to avail myself of the cash back facility.
I duly applied and entered into correspondence with Creative Finance, who manage the Asda credit card.
Despite the fact that I had lived at the same address for decades, been with the same bank for nearly as long, usual utility bills etc, always paid on time, Creative couldn't satisfy themselves of my identity and requested that I provide physical proof of my identity, ie forward them a utility bill and bank statement or other document with my name and address on it.
I told them that I would not be doing this, to which I was advised that my application would not be considered further.
I emailed the CEO at Asda asking him to justify the actions of Creative Finance.
I ended up in discussions with both Asda and Creative.
The outcome was that Creative apologised, saying lessons had been learnt and offered to process my application.
I would add that one of my phone calls to Creative lasted 11 minutes, and they conveniently had no record of it.
Asda offered me a gift voucher for the poor treatment.
I declined the offer from both as I wanted nothing more to do with either company that could offer such a shabby experience to its customers.
I informed Adsa that the gift voucher would be no use to me, as I would no longer be using their stores or other services.
Morrisons Aldi and Tesco are all within a similar travelling distance.
My credit history was to say the least not good due to personal and my employment status, which people in my similar situations find extremely hard to even consider getting a mortgage.
I had used 2 other brokers before which a total waste of time and money. But then I was very fortunate to find this company who I thought would be my last option before not bothering with going for a mortgage.
From the service, my assigned broker and his team kept me informed every step of the way. On the day my broker contacted me to say I had obtained a mortgage offer from one of the big high street lenders, I was so surprised could'nt believe it! All wiithin less than two weeks and also arranged my life insurance at also a great deal.
This is Broker and his team was fantastic, honest and extremely friendly which is something the other brokers was not in the same league as this Broker
You wont be disappointed in using this Broker for all your financial needs
