Property viewing experience
Booking a viewing slot via the Crest Nicholson website was quick and straightforward. We were able to book a viewing at a convenient time for us on the same day of booking. At the Ludlow Green development, we were met promptly by the viewing assistant and given useful information about the for sale properties we were looking at. We were allowed to view the properties at our own leisure and our queries were answered to our satisfaction.

The whole process so far has been taken step by step with nothing missed while selecting the upgrades available was done in an unhurried and relaxed way.

Cringleford Heights
I have been to the site 3 times and the reps have been so helpful and informative. I was given time in the show house to measure spaces for furniture and explore options. They explained the extra options and gave information about the new builds.

The sales team at Branston Locks
The sales team at Branston Locks, Nikita and Hannah, were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. They explained in detail the reservation process through to completion. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel valued customers.

Are overall experience
The communication at the beginning of the process wasn’t great, especially with the delays we experienced, which was quite frustrating at the time. Service wasn’t great at the beginning, but Keeley in the sales office was great with us and tried to be as accommodating as possible when arranging visits around our work. The buying process also wasn’t great due to their solicitors not being very forthcoming, but once everything was completed, things improved significantly.
Since then, the team has been excellent—particularly Jess and Sheldon from the site management team. They’ve been very supportive and fully aware that we moved in while building work was still ongoing around us and with us moving in so close to Christmas .
All of the teams on site have been incredibly accommodating, and we really appreciate how considerate they’ve been towards our situation of living practically on the edge of the building site. It’s also meant a lot how kind they’ve been to our little boy, who is digger-mad—they’ve really made the experience extra special for him and he settled so well.
The quality of the build is very good. We had a snagging meeting and the majority of the issues have been resolved—they’ve been very good and quick at getting these sorted.
Facilities on site overall are great. Could have done with more storage space, but the rooms are big enough to create space.
Overall, despite the rocky start, we’re very grateful for the effort and care shown since moving in.

A Shoddy Service
We made an appointment to view all 3 bed new builds under shared ownership via Crest with David Wilson Homes.
Arrived to the sales office, not only did they not have any keys for the properties, or have any knowledge of our appointment, we were told they don’t offer shared ownership. This isn’t the as these properties are ON the SO websites.
We travelled an hour to get to the development and arranged childcare, just to be met with a total letdown!
