Purchased patterns and some buttons. All items were packaged well and I am very pleased with the service I received.

I needed samples , advice and to change my order. It was no problem as I just phoned the company and spoke to a really helpful real person.

Disappointing experience. Ordered a set of samples and one wasn't sent as they were running low on the fabric. They didn't let me know about this nor refund the cost for the sample that wasn't sent. I believe I should have been informed if something wasn't in stock so that I could decide whether or not to go ahead with the order. I had ordered specifically to compare two types of corduroy, and ended up paying for a set of samples without being able to do this.

I have just received a parcel of fabric from Croft Mill. It is a beautiful high quality fabric in triple crepe, and I have chosen the rich royal blue. I am so delighted with it, and at such a reasonable price.

Also, thank you so much for the helpful sample. Fantastic. My thanks and very best wishes.

Avoid an in person visit unless you want to feel unwelcome and a burden!!!!! Z
My mother and I were looking forward to our visit to Croft Mill making a journey from Scotland for the visit. Booked an appointment to visit as per the website instructions. We were 15 minutes early for our appointment and was welcomed in by a lovely young girl who explained the warehouse and process.
5 minutes into the visit we were rudely told by who I believe was one of the owners (Middle Ages lady who appears on the majority of their instagram videos) telling us we needed to leave because she had a meeting - of the appointment time was not suitable this should have been acknowledged at the time of the phone call?! When we confronted the lady to say we did make an appointment her attitude did change slightly however after such a horrible exchange earlier we were totally put off. We were made to feel like we were a problem.
I had a large list of fabrics and cash with me and they have lost out due to the rudeness of the owner - even the assistant who was helping us looked extremely awkward!
We went straight to Empress Mills along the road and received a lovely welcome and spent our money there!

Ordered with courier service before cut off time as really needed fabric at short notice, called 3 times to confirm, no answer. Recieve a call later to say actually we haven't sent your fabric, the couriers been and gone, and a fabric is out of stock. I'd read some reviews inbetween so was little surprise.

The fabric arrived really quickly and was just as I expected, beautiful quality and feel.

The fabric I bought from here was poor quality. I had a dress made and it ripped on about the fourth wear. Looking at the fabric it is clear that it has not caught and is just too weak to make a dress from. I asked Croft Mill for assistance and after chasing and a discussion they have sent 1m of fabric to repair the dress.

Terrible. Ordered 2 metres of winceyette fabric, but only received 1. Won't be using this site again.

Absolutely terrible service. I ordered fabric and paid for 24hr delivery. 7 days later my order arrived. I chased the order 2 days later, I was told it was on the cutting table that day, so I would receive the next day. I chased again on day 5 and had no reply. So I paid £6.95 delivery, no apology and no refund. Safe to say I won't use or recommend.

Ordered fabric on line after having received a sample and which is the first time I’ve used Croft Mill. The quality of the fabric is excellent. There was a slight issue with the length of fabric ordered and what was delivered. However. The company responded to my query and resolved the issue satisfactorily within a few days of my query.
I’ve already recommended the company and I will order again.

Disappointed that I’ve so far waited 10 days for fabric to arrive via Royal Mail 2nd class. While Croft Mill can’t be held liable for appalling postal services … they could do what other retailers do and select a reliable courier . In these competitive times they might also consider free postage above a certain amount. No real incentive to re-order from this company based on my experience so far .

Started shopping with Croft Mill after a friend recommended them in our sewing group. Made about 5 orders so far and I receive quality fabrics everytime! The ladies who answer the phone are always very friendly. Can't ask for more.

Excellent quality lawn cotton at a really good price. Generously measured. Delivery was fine. Will definitely use again.
