WARNING! DO NOT use this company!
All of the warning signs are there, ignore them at your peril.
My initial issue was that whilst searching for a cruise on their site, I was unable to select one of the most important and obviously required filters, the departure port.
Then I noticed that the website wasn't secured (big red flag).
I then attempted to call the 0203 number and it has been disconnected. So i called the 0800 number, call could not be completed.

No idea what is going on with this "company" but whatever it is, isn't good.

I have used cruise co many times but would like to warn future customers they are a nightmare when it comes to refunds and do not comply with ABTA RULES

Just a bit of background- as someone who has been dealing with travel agents and websites for booking my cruises for over 35 years, I've seen and experienced every level of service, from the top drawer to the truly dire.

I looked at Cruise Compare mainly because of all the buzz I've been picking up of late, and I'm glad that I did. The site itself is simple, concise and easy to use, without being overblown. The info I wanted was there to hand, minus the waffle and hype. Refreshing, that.

Speaking to staff on the phone about one small query I had, the answer to my question was forthcoming within the hour- the agent actually went and double checked with the cruise line, apparently. I was promised a call back within four hours- it came within one. Might not sound like much to some I admit, but I appreciate that kind of courtesy and service.

The bottom line for me was this: I was made to feel that my custom was valued, that my requirements and satisfaction were paramount, and that everything was dealt with properly, promptly. No gibberish. No glib sales pitch to sell me 'extras'. In short, Just what I wanted. They even came up with decent flights for me both ways.

I wasn't sure cruises were for me, but got a great price for me and the hubby for a 7 day deal, looks a dream and call staff (Gemma) so helpful, so no complaints so far,....and we are looking forward to our first cruise in the summer with Royal Caribbean! Will post back.......

I've been looking around for a getaway for the coming up winter holidays and must have used a dozen comparison sites for cruise deals. No other come close to Cruise Compare for how simple, straight forward and easy to use it is and in some ways it's put the fun back into discovering whats out there for cruises.

Many other comparison sites are full to the brim with information, hectic layouts and countless ads slapping you in the face that it's impossible to digest all you see. Cruise Compare tells you what you need to know in a concise and hassle free way and even goes that extra mile if you don't know exactly what you want, just where you want to go by providing deals based on destinations.

Their booking staff are equally as pleasant as the site, very helpful and willing to answer any queries without trying to hard sell you extra's that you don't want.

I'm very pleased with the whole process and will be certainly using them again / recommending them to friends, family and pretty much anyone looking for a cruise.

For our summer holiday this year we felt like a change from the usual week long countryside breaks that we usually take. The Cruise Compare website was well set out and fairly easy to use so we just decided to go with them.

All we had to do was click ‘cruise deals’ and then use the drop down boxes to search for what we wanted. After much deliberation we ended up going for a 7 night European cruise for what will be our first cruise ever, setting sail on the 4th October.

What we were delighted with was the fact that Cruise Compare gave us a really good comparison for where I could find the cheapest deal for a number of different rooms; Inside, SeaView, Balcony and Suite. In the end we went for the cheapest deal possible, an inside room via ideal cruising, which saved us £104 per person.

We’re very excited for our holiday and Cruise Compare made booking it a pain free process. Would recommend.
