BUYER BEWARE

Just over 2 weeks ago around the 8th of October, an advert for ' Crux Publishing House' came up on Facebook.
I was looking for a ghost writer for a book I have had an idea for years to write.
I liked the page and was immediately contacted, by a man named Albert Hughes.
We arranged a call the following day and, long story short, within 5 days I was SCAMMED out of $999, to be exact..
This man made himself out to be kind, interested, positive for my venture and me as a human.
It was all rubbish.
He sent paperwork from another company, Ink Founders, to provide an outline and covers for my book.
During our first conversation I asked him if he was recording me, so which he replied 'yes'..illegal in Australia.
I checked both Inkfounders and Crux, found positive reviews on Trust Pilot and REVIEWS..io which mentioned Albert Hughes. (As of 24th Oct the review mentioning Albert Hughes has been removed)
Then I paid the money, stupid, gullible me.!!!
As I was pushed more and more timewise with him he said a writer would call, they didn't. He said he would take over, record and convey
1st) bad red flag.
The calls came from Canberra, a SCAMMER re route route apparently.
When questioned he said he was in Sydney and this happens sometime 2nd) bad red flag.
I looked at the address for Crux Publishing House...368 Surry Hills, it does not exist in the Directory of Businesses there...
3rd) bad red flag.
My bank then returned a query I made re this situation, and after explaining all, was informed THIS IS A SCAM.
I blocked my phone and asked to meet him via email..he denied ability, sent lengthy messages wanting to call me..and agreed to repay me the money..
He has not.
Up until yesterday, 24th Oct, Ink Founders was directly connected to a site in Australia that states address as Kariong...Albert Hughes alleged home address.
The site in Australia has now been deleted, suspect as !
I am putting this here to WARN ANY OTHER POTENTIAL VICTIMS.
IT IS FRAUD, A SCAM.
I have also put reviews up on Ink Founders as a warning, sent the emails with information re connection to Albert Hughes, the information requested to prove my truth, and, of course, got no reply 😑
I have been blocked from Crux Publishing House sites on both Facebook and Instagram for trying to warn people there.
Please please BEWARE if considering anything to do with Crux Publishing House..they will take your money and you WONT get it back.
