We will avoid this shop in future
As a returning customer, we were very disappointed with the hand-tied festive bouquet of flowers, ordered as a Christmas gift in good time for collection on 23/12.
We had discussed our requirements a week prior to ordering and originally budgeted for £20 but were urged to increase this to £25 if we wanted lillies in the mixed bunch, which we were told would be a 'good' size and value for money.
When we collected the flowers we were presented with what we considered a small, not very varied bouquet with a lot of greenery and not a lilly to be seen!
We expressed our dissatisfaction to the staff and they agreed to alter and add another stem, not a lilly, to the mix and said the cost of blooms at Xmas meant that this was the best they could do.
Despite a later phone call from the owner, Maria, to apologise for the lack of lillies, no offer was made to refund the extra £5 we had paid.
When I told her that we will not be using her services again she seemed completely unconcerned.
