BEWARE, trading on a name, waste of money.

Some of you might remember the printed Daltons Weekly, it was packed with adverts for all things business and like the Exchange & Mart it went digital some years ago.
Last year I wanted to sell my business and found Daltonsbusiness online. I read their claims of success and 'hits' and signed up full of hope and paid what I thought at the time was rather a lot of money.

'The best place to sell your business' was one of the claims...

To keep this short the responses from advertising with this company was pathetic, less, far less in fact than the DIY website I built [that cost me about £1 a month].

Same responses came in duplicate and on the weekly report once again their figures counted one enquiry as two.... interestingly, despite me being able to write sensible and polite responses to the handful of enquirees none replied which made me wonder if they actually existed...

After a while it was clear that I had thrown good money down the drain, I auctioned the business. Eventually I got a partial refund but all in all it was an extremely disappointing and expensive exercise.

So don't be fooled or bamboozled by their claims, I'd guess they hail from times long gone...
