I am very disappointed with my…

I am very disappointed with my experience with DAMAC Properties. As a US investor, I trusted the promises made by the sales team at the time of booking.

I purchased a property in DAMAC Islands-2 during the last week of December. At the time of booking, the sales person Wazzim and my broker clearly informed me that I would receive complimentary flight tickets and a 5-day hotel stay once I completed the 25% payment. I completed the required payment by January 25th.

However, due to the Middle East situation at that time, there were no flights available from the US. When I later requested to use the promised offer, the sales person directly refused and denied the offer completely.

The biggest issue is that DAMAC never provided any written confirmation or email regarding the terms, validity, or expiry of this offer. Nothing was documented properly.

I strongly advise buyers and investors: please do not trust verbal promises from sales representatives. Make sure every commitment, offer, discount, waiver, or benefit is clearly mentioned in writing before purchasing any property.

What is even more frustrating is that the same property I purchased in DAMAC Islands-2 is now being offered with a 10% discount and complete DLD waiver for new buyers.

Very disappointing experience and poor handling of customer commitments.

I purchased a supposedly high end…

I purchased a supposedly high end apartment in Qatar in October of last year. The finishings are substandard and there are many issues that are yet to be resolved. I have phoned and emailed countless times but nobody ever responds. It is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone

We had a civil issue that was unattended to for 8 months. I would like to credit Rizwan Syed Ali and White Spot team at Damac Maintenance for their diligence and relentless efforts in the completion of the work in 3 days. Dear DAMAC Properties

A 24-year-old girl from London paid £20,000, nearly AED 100,000, at your Damac Exhibition in JW Marriott Grosvenor House London in May 2024 after being assured by one of your senior salespersons, a member of your well-known “1 Billion Club”, that she would be able to change to another unit once she visited Dubai.

After travelling to Dubai, your salesperson completely changed his position despite the original representations being clearly confirmed in emails and chat correspondence.

There is clear documentary proof of what was promised. Despite this, your company’s response so far appears to be limited to saying the matter is being looked into, while her money remains with you and no real resolution has been provided.

To date, not a single official DAMAC email or formal document has been provided to her confirming the status of her funds or explaining your company’s position. It is difficult to understand how no responsibility is being taken despite the clear documentary evidence and the fact that the payment was made directly at your London exhibition to your salesperson. For more than two years you are just holding onto her money. This was all her savings.

UK investors value transparency, honesty, and professional conduct. Situations like this risk seriously damaging confidence amongst overseas buyers investing into the UAE property market.

This post is not intended to make defamatory allegations, but to request that someone genuinely senior within DAMAC reviews the matter fairly and urgently based on the documented communications and evidence available.

The reputational damage from unresolved investor complaints can far outweigh the original deposit amount involved.

Please have a senior member of management contact me directly to resolve this matter professionally.

Not professional and bad behaviour

Once they got your number, they spam calling every day and different numbers, so u cant block them. Not even real people, only bots. Very bad and unprofessional accuisition.

They sales pitch in the office was kind of agressive. The advisor told us to get some coffee for us but came back with another "higher" sales manager. You guys got to learn about selling and marketing for real.
