On July 1st 2002 we placed and order…No confidence in this enterprise at all
On July 1st 2002 we placed and order for euros 1936,00 and were told to expect delivery and installation 3 weeks later i.e. before the end of July 2022.
We paid a deposit of 30%.
At the end of July 2022 we received a call informing us that there would be a delay in delivery quoting the first week of August 2022 as the new delivery date. Two weeks later we called to find out what the situation was and were informed that they had received partial delivery and the rest would arrive shortly. We called again twice and asked to speak to the manager but as of 19/09/2022 we have received no return call. We have been waiting for nearly 3 months!!!
UPDATE : Darty reacted to our former post within 24 hours and have now made a proposition which is to our satisfaction, provided it is enacted by close of business Wednesday 28/09/22

Last week (18/8) we paid cash in the DARTY a store in Martinique for an oven which was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. It was NOT delivered. We are now Tuesday and despite sending messages, making at least 40 telephone calls we have no news or response. So far have just lost 600 euros…….

Not able to accept payment from oversea, so payment is declined, and 6h later the credit card get hacked ... so their IT infrastructure is not secure, to avoid as much as possible

Zero customer experience
Zero customer experience. Ordered an expensive coffee machine that was broken and under guarantee and I spoke to 2 customer service employees and 2 managers about having someone return it and they all refused. Even worse, I had clearly stated I had health issues and they suggested I find someone with a car to help me! I had to return the item (which is very heavy) myself under 15 days or else I would not be reimbursed. I would recommend whoever is shopping here to think long and hard before deciding to trust them with a purchase.

J'ai passé une commande avec livraison express. Darty a tout fait bien, rapidement et correctement. Lorsque j'ai informé Darty que la livraison express n'avait pas été effectuée par le coursier (pas de tentative de livraison, dépôt dans la boîte aux lettres afin que l'accès ne soit possible qu'après le week-end.) les frais express ont été immédiatement et inopinément remboursés sans qu'on le demande, bien que Darty n'était pas responsable. très orienté client et centre client super sympa.

I placed an order with express delivery. Darty did everything well, quickly and properly. When I informed Darty that the express delivery had not been made by the courier (no delivery attempt, deposit in the post box so that access was only possible after the weekend.) The express costs were immediately and unexpectedly refunded without being asked, although Darty was not to blame for the delay. Very customer oriented and super friendly customer center

Scam company! DO NOT join the Darty work from home scheme! They tell you can can work for 15 minutes a day, build a little nest egg, etc. But once you have, they'll 'fire' you giving you no time to withdraw any money. It's a scam! I repeat, DO NOT JOIN DARTY! If they are willing to do this, what are they going to do with your financial data?

I bought a reborn Iphone 11 pro
The description mentions that the phone had a premium refurbishing process but when I got the phone
The battery was 88% and the screen was not recognized by apple and I got an error message from the phone about the screen.
I will return it tomorrow and see how bad their return process is.
My conclusion, for now, is to avoid Darty as much as you can

Do not try to contact them by phone
I tried to contact a specific shop close to my house to know the availability of one product. In fact, the phone number (40cents per minute) is for the overall central service made me wait for more than 4minutes withour giving me any aditional information compared to the website.

Bought a product online (€143) which has stopped working under guarantee. Their online 'chat' said I had to take it to the nearest store - when I said I was unable to do that it was just 'that's our policy'. They even stated they did not have a complaints procedure!
I wrote to their registered office in Paris - surprise - no response.
NEVER BUY FROM DARTY!!!!

I have used online chat......I have emailed.....I have written to the CEO - NO RESPONSE. I have now contacted my card company to chargeback this cost to Darty.

I sold things on Darty, during the peak seasons, I made 30,000 euros sales volume on Darty, but Darty said my price was lower than normal and refund all the orders and suspended my seller account. orders dispatched, and order refunded. seller account could not log in. DO NOT SELL AND BUY on this website.

Zero help for defective products
I purchased an expensive fridge 10 months ago and today it broke down. I call Darty, and they tell me since it’s a ‘marketplace vender’ they can’t do anything, I have to contact by formulaire the marketplace and wait 3 days and maybe have a response. They have no phone number. I cannot go 3 days with no fridge. I bought with Darty specifically so I could have help in event of a breakdown but the guarantee of help is a lie. On top of that, when I called the helpline the aide was very rude.

Owful, i ordered a laptop and it never delivered on time. I cancelled my order and they told me that I would be refunded in 10 days. Today is day 11th and they are telling me that they can’t refund and it takes 10 more days!
It is obviously corruption. It is not normal. Big shame

The last two orders I have made at Darty have been a disaster. Not sure what happened to them because they used to be the best. Even as we speak, after they cancelled my order without telling me, they still hold on to my money. Never again. FYI: the countless customers services reps that juggle you during a conversation I suspect they are not even humans.
