Unable to cancel free trial or get a refund
I found this app on Facebook and signed for only 4 weeks including a 7 day free trial. I did use Apple’s Hide My Email to sign up. Within 30 minutes I found the app to be poorly designed, no FAQ, no help or support link, very buggy. According to the EULA I could get a refund and/ or cancel free trial if I used it less than 4 days. There was no way to cancel within the app. Dashi email support that I eventually found would not cancel my free trial nor refund my payment unless I sent an email from the Apple Hide My Email email address. When I couldn’t find out how to do that I contacted Apple Support who told me that the Hide My Email email address is single use and there is no way to email someone from the hidden email address. Dashi refused to cancel or refund even though I explained this to them. Apple Support recommended stopping payment via the credit card company. After more than 7 emails to/from the company, I had to resort to stopping payment via the credit card company. I do not recommend engaging with this app or its developer.
