Superb communication, high quality doors and David was so accommodating with my short timescale

Product was exactly what we wanted. I actually ordered and didn’t realise it was around a 4 week wait for delivery, I needed them asap so contacted David and he was able to help. Received doors in less than 2 weeks! Thank you so much for getting them to us so quickly - you saved us!

The doors where delivered packed brilliantly to make sure they would not be damaged in transit. On unpacking we were delighted on the finish on the doors and all the hinge holes where drilled out exactly to my instructions.
We ordered 11 doors and 6 drawer fronts and are totally happy with them and they are as good or if not better than the likes of ikea or wren kitchens.
I spoke to David personally and after a small delay they where delivered within the next 48 hrs.
The quality cannot be beaten.

After sending an email and not receiving a response I then read the reviews on here I was a little concerned and so I emailed Dave again expressing concerns and within an hour he had called me on the phone to update me on my order. The doors were only one week overdue when they arrived and were excellent quality, very well made and very well packaged. While he acknowledged that sometimes there can be delays and that he isn’t able to easily respond to emails because he is working on his own, trying to ship around 100 orders a day.

I think if you are thinking of ordering you should definitely give Dave a chance, as his products are really high quality and very good value for money. While he may not respond to all emails he is just one man making and shipping doors on his own, rather than a big company who would be charging at least double.

Placed an order end of June. Not received to date. I have tried emails.. phone calls .. left messages.. never any response.. you can’t run a company like this. They are a shambles.

Ordered some doors at the end of May - still had no email of dispatch. Numerous calls that go unanswered and sent two emails with no response. I hate leaving bad reviews, however, we’ve paid for items and have had zero communication from the team. Hugely disappointed and will be taking the issue further.

I ordered 6 custom size doors on 8th May. I emailed on 15th May as I hadn’t received a confirmation email but the money had been taken from my account. I received an email reply on 17th from David confirming they had received my order, resending the confirmation and telling me that there is a 20 working day lead time. He directed me to my junk folder where the original confirmation was! I was not in a rush and felt reassured by the contact and response. 20 working days came and went and no doors arrived. On 16th June I emailed to ask for an update. No reply. I then looked at reviews and saw that the lead time tends to be longer than quoted and that communication was poor. I felt reassured that this wasn’t a scam and decided to wait a bit longer. On 4th July (40 working days since ordering) I tried the make contact again and left a voice mail on the mobile number listed on the website, sent an email and completed a contact form on their website. I explained in all three methods of communication that I am becoming increasingly concerned that this is a scam and that I would appreciate contact to reassure me that they are a genuine company before I contact my bank to report it. It is now 7th July and I am on the brink of contacting my bank, I don’t know what else to do. I’m not worried about the timeframe, if they contact me to say they won’t be ready for another month that would be ok, I just need the reassurance that I haven’t been scammed.

UPDATE 9th July: My doors arrived today! They arrived well packaged and look really good. I hadn’t received a dispatch email so wasn’t expecting them but it was a welcome surprise. I also received a phone call from David who had read my review. He seems like a genuinely nice guy who is working single-handedly making the doors and trying to keep on top of communications (his wife had been doing the coms side of the business but isn’t able to at the moment). We discussed how the customers experience would be greatly improved if the communication was better and he fully understood this and has someone lined up to help in this area over the summer.

Now that I know this is a genuine company who produce high quality products I will be ordering from them again in the future.

If you want to support a small business and have time to wait for quality doors then I would recommend them.

Makes no contact, doesn’t respond to either email or phone calls/messages already two weeks over the the 20 day time.Avoid this company like the plague

I ordered 18 primed MDF shaker doors from this company. Most were custom sizes, as they were to fit onto an existing frame in the kitchen. I spoke with David to confirm my requirements and put the order in through his website.

I am really pleased with the doors - they look great painted and have transformed the look of the kitchen.

The time take for delivery was quite long - I think about 5 weeks from placing the order, hence 4 stars not 5. But overall, glad I bought doors from this company.

Great doors for a great price. They take a while to arrive but worth the wait. Happy customer!

Still waiting for my doors, I ordered ages ago and was told they would be with me two weeks ago, then a week ago I was told they were ready, but there was no tracking available...since then I have left messages and emailed daily, but I am being completely ignored. I have paid a carpenter to fit these this weekend and I'm getting increasingly frustrated by the lack of communication...and lack of doors which I really need asap, as promised!
UPDATED - Communication did improve and my doors did finally arrive, overall I am pleased with them...as long as you are willing to wait, they are good value for money

As with others, I wish I'd read the reviews first. 4 week estimate for delivery came and went and couldn't get hold of the company by phone, and had multiple unanswered emails. Eventually concluded that I'd been scammed, got a refund issued through my credit card company, and ordered elsewhere.
The doors eventually turned up 10 weeks after ordering, after I'd received and painted the replacement set. Can't comment on the quality, I never even opened them.
A good example of how not to run a business, and I hope they take some of the feedback on board and spend more time on updates and communication.
Suggest only ordering if time is not a factor, and even then, there are better companies out there.

First time i have used this company. I required both standard and custom sized doors and was very impressed with the quality of the materials used and of the high standard of workmanship. The measurements were precise and the finish was impressive. Prices are very reasonable. Excellent customer service. Will be using this company again.

I agree with most of these reviews regarding delivery timescales and communications, which are apalling. To add insult to injury, David did not have the decency and manners to let me know that the doors had not been dispatched as promised meaning I spent a day needlessly waiting in for them when they were still at his works.

However, I cannot agree with those who say that, despite the poor service, the quality is good. IMHO, the quality too is apalling. The doors appeared OK on arrival, but having now painted them, the panels are riddled with shallow gouges and dwell marks from the mill.

I should send them back but can't face any more dealings with this company

Order the doors 12th January, estimated delivery date 4 weeks from order.
Ordered arrived at just over 10 weeks from ordering.
It would have been useful to get some feedback about delays in manufacturing them throughout the process.
Product arrived well packed by the courier.

I ordered 3 doors for an electrical cupboard.
perfect sizes and well packaged.

Even though it was a three week lead time this was stated before. Communication was good and items arrived well packaged and great quality at a reasonable price 👍👍

If time matters I wouldn’t order kitchen doors from here. It took almost 4 months to get my order and the only reason I got them to deliver was because I had to do a charge back. No communication no answers to emails or phone calls.

The doors are excellent quality but the lack of communication and uncertainty of if you are getting scammed is not worth the time and worry.
As a company you really need to work on the company side of things and not just the product. More communication is key if we know why there is a delay and why it’s taking longer then expected it would be better for both parties.

These doors are very high quality. Communication was good throughout and the slightly longer lead time than other companies is worth it as the products are top class.

I needed some bespoke doors and the company were fantastic at understanding the requirements and the end product met the brief exactly.

The packaging of the doors was very good and ensured they were delivered in perfect condition.

Sometimes in life it’s not how fast you can get a product but understanding that quality takes time.
