Awfully over charged by this firm by thousands of pounds! AVOID at all costs

As a first-time homebuyer in the UK, I received outstanding advice and truly professional service from Davies and Partners Solicitors. The entire process was handled online, making it seamless, efficient, and completely stress-free; I could manage everything from the comfort of my home with just a few clicks.

The team was incredibly supportive throughout. They provided clear guidance on all documentation and took the time to patiently address every question I had, no matter how small. Their communication was consistent, transparent, and reassuring at every stage.

Overall, my experience was smooth, well-organised, and genuinely positive. I felt confident and well-advised throughout the journey. I would highly recommend Davies and Partners Solicitors to anyone looking to buy a home.

We have just completed on our first home using Davies & Partners Solicitors and couldn't have been happier with the process. Throughout the process Hannah took great care of us and handled all of our paperwork and mortgage/deposit transfer for the house. As young first time buyers we felt at ease throughout the process especially with such a quick turnaround time (7 weeks post reserving). The use of their portal system/app made the process much easier, we were able to upload and sign documents as and when needed. Davies & Partners were suggested to us by our house developer and we were pleased to see their affordable rates compared to some of the much more extortionate local firms. Overall great experience and will definitely use again in the future!

I contacted James Wickett with a detailed email explaining that I was struggling with mental health issues and urgently needed assistance with a claim. Despite the seriousness of my situation, I received no response whatsoever. For a professional who works in an area where empathy and communication should be essential, this level of disregard is deeply disappointing. Based on my experience of being completely ignored at a vulnerable time, I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking support or compassion

We have been back to Kerry and her fantastic team 4 or 5 times now for help with buying and selling property and we would not use anyone else! We used Davies and partners for a recent house move and it’s been a pleasure to deal with them , in particular Phylip Richards from the Bristol branch has been helpful and quick to reply to questions and chase up our buyers solicitors , would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends , the moving process wasn’t easy but without these solicitors it would have been a lot more difficult

As first-time buyers, we were nervous about going through the motions of buying, dealing with solicitors, and everything else that comes with purchasing a home. However, the amazing Clare Sharp and Amitha Alex took away all of our stress, going above and beyond for us throughout the process.

Fantastic service and ongoing communication throughout our mortgage process. We have now used Davies & Partners for two house purchases and have found them to be excellent during both.
We found Corinne to be very thorough and diligent in all aspects of our recent purchase. She covered every element and was across the whole process, picking up on some issues to make sure we were fully in the know and protected in the future. Superb. We also had multiple exchanges and conversations with Millie, who again was so professional, understanding and helpful throughout. We really wanted to get our completion through ahead of the pending SDLT increase and felt that the two ladies pulled out all the stops to get us there. We knew that their workload had increased but they were still very thorough and ensured all the boxes were ticked in good time. Amazing
