Useless dysfunctional scam

The multiple apps do not communicate or connect efficiently - or ever - making the use of them impossible and a waste of time. Customer service is overseas alllowing the most minor app issue resolution to have personal financial data revealed and potentially targeted. The claim of providing a service to employees is Horse you know what. Service is commensurate with a $0.25 per hour wage and it is total waste of time. Clearly the CEOs just all know each other. TOTAL SCAM

The most abysmal service ever concocted by the human mind. When Lovecraft wrote of horrors beyond human comprehension he was thinking of something similar to Dayforce. I think I would rather sample mustard gas then ever interact with this horrid, vibe-coded, AI ridden nightmare.

This is THE WORST timecard management…

This is THE WORST timecard management company available! I can't believe they are still in business! I work for the biggest brick refractory production company in the world and I have FINALLY gotten them to drop this worthless "service". If this doesn't put them out of business, I will take up my own personal vendetta to do so. They have downright stolen money from WAY too many hard-working individuals. You're done Dayforce!

Not Cost Effective

It’s ironic that our HR software is called “Dayforce HCM”. Hypertophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is heart condition in which the heart muscle is so thick that it can’t effectively pump blood. Dayforce HCM is so bloated with features and menus that the most common HR pathways are occluded by irrelevant options and applications. It may be cheaper than ADP on a PEPM basis, but such a comparison ignores manhours wasted searching for the most obvious functions.

Question about availability of a position with a recruiter

I contacted the company to ask whether a position was still open. A contact person was listed in the job posting, so I sent a brief inquiry directly and subsequently a reminder. Although I received as it appears an automated read receipt confirming that my message had been opened, I never received a reply — even after more than 5 days.

While I understand that recruiters and hiring managers are busy, a short acknowledgement or brief response would have been a matter of professional courtesy. Communication is a key element of a positive candidate experience, and in this case it was unfortunately lacking.

This experience occurred through the Dayforce Recruiting system, which should ideally support timely and transparent communication between candidates and hiring teams. - recruiting is personal, systems should be based on that still

One star is too many

One star is too many. This is by far the worst payroll system I have ever used. I had better reporting when we manually entered paper timecards and used a mainframe. I'm astonished anyone uses this system. There is nothing good I can say about it. It's horrible, expensive, no custom reporting, terrible UI, ad hoc charges for everything, tax filing sucks, the tax system isn't integrated, it's difficult to maintain, terrible user documentation - we would seriously be much better off with paper.

Terrible app

Terrible app, it said my password or sign in name is wrong, when I know it isn't, there's no support and when I tried to recover my password it locked me out, it is very user unfriendly and complicated.

The worst service buyer beware!

Since the Americans took it over the service is horrible. Expect to wait at least 1 hour to call in payroll or try to navigate the not user friendly online platform. Also if you are on hold and are asked to leave a call back number, the mailbox will be full and the call is terminated.

Lastly, if you do get to an operator to call in payroll, the payroll may not be deposited into your account.

There are better and less expensive companies out there.

Dayforce Job Application System is TERRIBLE

As a candidate attempting to apply for jobs and who as applied through several types of systems, Dayforce is the absolute worst. I have even decided to not apply for a job if they use the Dayforce application system.

It takes so much time to fill out the application - and while it gives you an option to fill in areas with saved cookies, whenever you attempt that, it messes up other areas of the application. This causes you to have to fill it out manually every single time. And if you make a mistake or error you may have to restart all over again.

Any time you submit a new resume (which has to be done if you apply for a different position) it tries to adapt your resume info into the application, which of course doesn't work correctly, so you have to go through and manually delete all of the information and resubmit it again manually.

The system is terrible for users, and I cannot imagine it works will for the companies employing it.

Dayforce App is GARBAGE!

I can never clock in or out on this app. It's always out of service so you can not see your hours or anything else. They need to throw the entire app away. It's complete garbage and the company I work for should have never switched over to this app. The one we were using worked perfectly.

I have been using powerpay for 8 years

I have been using powerpay for 8 years, the service has drastically declined in the last 2.

I need to make an edit before my next payroll, last week the wait times to speak to a rep were 1 hour plus, today the wait is estimated at 35-40 minutes, but the system keeps disconnecting my call after I’ve waited 10 mins or more.

I emailed last week and again today, no reply at all.

The chat portal doesn’t work because of “network settings” no business owner, small or large, has the time for any of this.

worst of the worst

"Company, user name or password not valid" is the message I receive even after confirming my username and changing my password. I've followed the directions in the email TO THE LETTER so that I can receive a W2 to file my taxes and I can't get past step 4:
1. Go to: Dayforce from a desktop computer
2. Company: Raise
3.Username: Your primary email address on file with Raise
4. Password: The password you created for Dayforce
5. In the left navigation, click Profile
6. On the Personal page, scroll down to Work Information
7.Under Payroll Information, click the pencil icon next to Year End Form Delivery
8. Select the box for W-2 at the bottom and click Approve
9. Confirm your address is correct in the Contact Information section (if your address is incorrect please contact Raise Support).

This is exasperating. Contacted tech support, got an email back containing my username and the email address to which the password reset was sent EXCEPT it wasn't sent to that email but rather to the USERNAME? Then when I changed it, "Company, user name or password not valid"????

I can't. And of course, no response again from tech support because an AI bot likely responded to the first email. When I get someone on the phone, Istg...

Avoid this payroll software

One star for this software is still overrated. Never in all my years as a UK payroller have I ever encountered such an antiquated system. Its overpriced and doesn't even do the basics such as backdating, calculating statutory sickness. No direct line to support staff everything is via a ticket and response is slow. Escalation is even slower.
