They don’t even deserve one star!!

They don’t even deserve one star!!!

Absolutely disgusting experience with this company. No empathy, no help, just constant pressure for money. The woman on the phone was rude and unhelpful, then started asking for my date of birth like I’m applying for a mortgage — what has that even got to do with anything when I’m simply trying to explain I only just received the letter due to moving address?

The app is completely useless, impossible to actually get proper support or speak to someone willing to help. They clearly don’t care about people or circumstances, only about grabbing money as quickly as possible. Zero compassion, zero customer service. Avoid if you can.

DCBL were singularly inept

DCBL were singularly inept. Between Sept 2025 and March 2026, they attended the debtor only twice and both without result. Our information about assets and best days and times to attend to seize assets were ignored. Their reporting back to us and general communications were woeful. We terminated our engagement with them and appointed another bailiff.

I was Fined £170 for parking

I was Fined £170 for parking
Euro Car Parks was the client- I sent them a receipt of proof of purchase, DCBL has this evidence, they said I'm being Fine because it wasn't properly displayed, their terrible ANPR cameras has a picture of the front of my car, where the ticket was fuzzy on picture but you can see it was displayed.

these people cant tell their a** from their elbow,

i was told that this will be taken to court and will be noted down as a CCJ, bring on the court proceedings!

Wouldn’t even rate them a 1 star

Wouldn’t even rate them a 1 star. Bunch of con artists it should be illegal what they do, something needs to change and after reading everyone else’s dealings with them.
Hope something changes and someone stops them from bullying people.

I cannot recommend DCBL enough

I cannot recommend DCBL enough. The whole process was incredibly easy and quick. The two team members I spoke to were very down to earth, efficient and reassuring. I will definitely be recommending this company to friends and family.

I would give 0 stars if possible.

I would give 0 stars if possible.

I am extremely disappointed and distressed by my experience dealing with Direct Collection Bailiffs Ltd.
I have repeatedly provided official evidence from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency confirming that I was not the registered keeper or owner of the vehicle in question at the time the parking fine was issued and had not been for almost a year beforehand.Despite this, DCBL initially denied receiving any evidence at all, even though it had clearly been attached to my correspondence. They then continued contacting me as though I had failed to respond or engage with them, which is completely untrue. I responded promptly, repeatedly, and provided all requested documentation.
When they finally acknowledged the evidence, they then contradicted themselves by claiming that my evidence showed I was the registered keeper at the time of the contravention — despite the DVLA documentation clearly confirming the exact opposite. They have now stated they will not review the evidence any further. It is extremely concerning to be told one thing, then another, while official evidence is seemingly ignored entirely. Their responses have been contradictory, inaccurate, and dismissive throughout.
I also experienced rude and unprofessional behaviour from staff members over the phone, including calls being terminated when I attempted to escalate my concerns or explain that I do not owe this debt. The ongoing threats of enforcement and legal action despite the evidence supplied are causing serious stress and anxiety and are now significantly affecting my mental health and wellbeing. I am the sole carer for my three children and instead of focusing on caring for my family, I am being forced to repeatedly defend myself against a debt that is not mine.I am deeply concerned by the continued processing of my personal data despite being informed that the information they are relying on is inaccurate. In my view, their conduct raises serious concerns regarding breaches of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, particularly around the accuracy and lawful processing of personal data.I have now escalated complaints regarding this matter to the:
• Information Commissioner’s Office
• Financial Conduct Authority
• Civil Enforcement Association

I would strongly urge others to keep detailed records of all communications and evidence when dealing with this company.

Received a letter today through post, of a fine upto £170, the date was from 3 years ago, called the company & spoke to women who was rude, they apparently sent a letter to my previous address but why of a sudden it takes this long to get a letter through to the address I'm living at now. Absolute scammers!!!

Customer service is absolutely awful

Customer service is absolutely awful. The employees answering the phones are so rude, abrupt and heartless. Spoke to an absolutely FOUL mouthed woman called Christine, it was like speaking to a pre-pubescent child having a tantrum because she wants her money (you'd think the £125 was going straight into her personal bank account) might as well be speaking to AI chat bot, you get more humanity from them than these people answering the phones. Considering they are sending debt collection letters left right and centre (mostly unlawful and untrue may I add) giving the working people serious anxiety and stress, they have ZERO compassion or care. absolutely disgusting company that think this is the way to treat people regarding debt, baring in mind people commit suicide over debt daily. This company seriously needs to be looked into for its conduct.

WASTE OF TIME

WASTE OF TIME! They don't have the power to enforce anything. I have a CCJ against a company that owes me wages. When DCBL attended the address, the debtor opened the door, claimed to be a different company, refused them entry, and said they had no lease documents to provide. DCBL now can't do anything, so basically, unless the debtor is fully cooperative and agrees to pay, there is nothing they can actually do. A complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend them at all.
