We couldn't be happier with the service provided by DC Law on both the sale of our house and then the purchase of our bungalow. Our contact for both was Liam Ryan, who was always available to answer any queries and made both the the sale and purchase very smooth transactions. He was always polite, helpful and ready to give advice when needed.

The solicitor in charge of the conveyancing process for my father's house was very professional and courteous in all her dealings with me. She worked conscientiously to overcome numerous difficulties in completing the sale and was always willing to keep me informed via telephone or e-mail of how things were going. It was a pleasure to deal with her.

I had issues all way through the process, getting responses to queriesvia email or telephone. I was selling the property for my father via POA, at the 11 hour they were asking for information and evidence that should have been requested in the first few weeks. This held everything up, all the other buyers and sellers in the chain were ready to exchange contracts at 9.30 on the day before completion. DCLaw were requesting fundamental evidence from me at 2 pm regarding my father's 'capacity' and the validity of my POA. This should have been one of the first things to be checked. This caused so much stress to everyone in the chain, including myself. It did get sorted but they really need to get their act together and realise that they are dealing with real people, who have paid for removal services, have family members booking days off work and have a window of opportunity to move. Very shoddy service and I would never recommend.

Very slow indeed to say there was no chain and a cash buyer. Took 6 months to complete from when probate was granted. Communication wasn't easy either. Impossible to call conveyancer on phone. My buyer threatened to pull out as it was taking so long. On the plus side, my conveyancer answered my queries in a helpful manner if I emailed her, and when she called me she was very professional and pleasant.

What can I say about Sonia Jutla she has been amazing. We had such a long difficult sale and Sonia worked so hard to get us exchanged when it didn't look like it was going to happen. Sonia went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Thanks so much Sonia!

Dealing the the loss of a parent and then having to arrange and manage a property sale to run alongside, is as you can imagine, tough.
However, from day 1 of the process through to the final completion, I have been overwhelmed by the level of support and communication that I have received from DC Law, and specifically, my point of contact, Lisa Rimmer.
I'm sure that the process throughout hasn't always been seamless, however, for myself and my brother, who were joint executives on the probate sale of our late Mothers property, it certainly appeared to be that way and frankly, that was down to the efforts in particular of Lisa.
I would highly recommend DC Law to anyone, 100%

I worked with Megan Koxha on this house sale.
This was a difficult sale s it involved probate and the house i was selling is 250 mile from my home address.
Megan guided me through a large number of complicated scenario's, most of which could not be completed without her help.
The house had belonged to my niece who had passed away. obviously this was a difficult time for me but Megan not only helped in the legal operation but also her kindness truly helped me through this difficult time. Megan has such a bright and bubbly telephone manner it was a joy talking to her.

This whole process has been handled very efficiently and professionally by DC Law. In particular I can’t praise Nasir highly enough. Throughout the long process of our property purchase his attitude has been exemplary and very professional. He responded to emails promptly and sympathised with our frustration at the painfully slow progress of the vendor’s conveyancer. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone needing someone to act for them in a property purchase.

I would like to start by thanking Harry Sawbridge from DC Law for acting as my solicitor during the sale of my house.
Harry is extremely professional and his dedication to getting my sale from offer to completion has been second to none.
Harry was quick to answer any questions I had during the sale. Not only that, Harry kept me up to date during the whole process.
I would also like to thank Harry for bearing with me at times when I was stressed! Harry kept me calm, relaxed and reassured by explaining anything in the process that I didn't understand. Thank you.
DC Law website is first class. You have your own portal clearly showing what stage your sale is at. It is the one stop portal for all of you paperwork to read and reply to.
You can clearly see every email and phone call made between DC Law and the other relevant parties.
I would highly recommend using DC Law for the sale of your property.

We really appreciated Caitlin Hall’s patience and kindness at a difficult time when we lost the bungalow we were buying and within the same hour had the purchaser of our house say they would reduce their offer price if we didn’t exchange on that same day. They also advised the following day their would reduce their offer price if we didn’t agree to move on the 27th May when we could only get removers for the 28th!
Throughout this Caitlin was very professional and ‘feisty’ on our behalf which we really needed at the time. She explained queries we had with the online Simplify system and navigated us through a sudden split purchase with us being ‘propertyless’ for one month staying with friends until we could complete on another bungalow.
This will be the last property we buy and is our forever home but we would not hesitate to recommend Caitlin Hall to other friends for conveyancing services.
We look forward to this Friday when we collect the keys!

Nasreen Akhtar was always helpful and polite, if there was anything that we could not understand she always took time to explain things to us.
Nasreen deserves the 5 star rating given.

Nikki Rimmer was a professional but also very understanding in a sensitive manner. Providing me time to grieve but also to understand the system. Nikki was always available and would be able to answer all questions I asked. I have only positive experiences of DCLaw as a company . I’d always recommend them.

I can highly recommend DC Law and in particular Samantha Haygarth who looked after my sale. She was so very a tentative and nothing was to much trouble and she was there when I needed a bit of reassurance. She is a credit to her firm
