Professional, dedicated and a committed team!

I have started my Foundation Year at University of East London in 2016 and at the moment, I am currently finishing my second year. The Deaf Agency has provided an excellent note-taking and interpreting support through out my years at UEL. As a profoundly deaf student, I am very fortunate and lucky to have a friendly note-taker, who writes in either handwritten and electronic form as when I am in the lecture of two hours, I rely on the interpreter who would be able to help me understand what my tutor is saying and what the students are asking. This gave me a lot of confidence. As I am studying BA Fine Art, my interpreter has an excellent general art knowledge and hence, she would sign brilliantly. This is because, in art there are many difficult art phrases and expressions. Therefore, my interpreter would confidently sign these art phrases and expressed them perfectly. This has boosted my interest and passion for the subject I have chosen to study at UEL. The Deaf Agency team is very professional, dedicated and committed. If I needed a support for a certain day at UEL, they would respond back immediately and provide a great service. For sure, I will be with the agency in my final third year!
