If I could put 0 stars, I would. I paid for an ebook that they never provided. Still chasing them to get what they owe me. This is a scam. Ps. I paid with VISA, an internationally recognized method. No reason not to provide.
Allez chier Decitre. Je parle français et vous me décevez franchement. J'ai même payé en double mon livre numérique car ça m'indiquait qu'il y avait une erreur.

So, these guys accepted payment from my card..... then did not provide the ebook. After wasting my time chasing them, they have told me that they do not accept bank cards not domiciled in France.... Yet they have already taken payment! What terrible customer service, and what a waste of my time.
Edit. My bank have told me that they haven't 'taken' payment, they have'blocked' it. They have thirty days, after which it would(hopefully) bounce back. What a drama. Buy your books elsewhere.

I bought 3 ebooks on Decitre website and proceeded to payment. My bank card was charged 30 euros and I could indeed see the transaction on my online bank statement.
However, Decitre website immediately mentioned that an “unrecoverable error had prevented completion of transaction and that I woulnt be charged”. Of course I had been charged a few seconds earlier. Contacted customer service. They simply sent a letter repeating the same message.
Bank informed me Decitre had indeed blocked 30euros and had 12 days to “cancel” their claim on my 30 euro. Simply said: Decitre is not Amazon.
I dont need a reply. You failed and should simply apologize for blindly sending me your letter. When customer says something’s wrong, it means there is a problem to be solved.

Failed delivery and even worse customer service
I placed my order on the 7th of July, and my order was dispatched on the 16th. No problem there. Then I received an email on the 23rd saying that my book had been delivered to the wrong address, that it was now out of stock and would I prefer I refund. I asked how long it would take for them to order a new copy, as that is my preference. I've now sent three emails and have not received a reply to any of them. It has been 2 weeks since they told me they lost my order and 4 weeks since I paid for the book, with no sign that a replacement will ever be sent. I'd ordered it for someone's birthday (which has since passed), so it's been a disaster all round.
