Very poor service

Very poor service, no attention to detail. Loads of sections of interior missed.

I'm a veteran mechanic and can easily and effectively clean my own cars, but I hate doing it. I felt that my cars restoration with new paint would benefit from a ceramic coating to give it the best protection and contacted this guy as I'm local. I've never messed around with ceramic coating but I am aware that applying it incorrectly would create a nightmare so I felt I'd let a "professional" do it.

The owner Lewis was quick to respond to messages via email when answering my questions and booking the car in. I got a 5 year ceramic coating and a full deep clean of the interior. I'd been over the interior as I assembled the car but not to a high standard and I figured I might as well as the car is in already.

After the car was done I looked over the outside and my Mrs (whom was driving the car back) sat in the car. I did not look in the interior.
I didn't drive the car for well over a week after my Mrs drove it back and I noticed bits of the interior that haven't been cleaned.

I messaged the owner via WhatsApp and asked if he cleaned the interior, he was adamant he had including the drivers side A-pillar even though I could wipe my fingers over that area and dirt would be on them.

After a few messages he stopped replying. I sent several messages via WhatsApp and after 4 or 5 days of no comms I decided to pay him a visit after work.
He acted surprised I was there and made a story about his dad being in hospital and that's why he hasn't replied. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and he promised he would contact me very soon to book the car back in to rectify the missed sections of interior.
After a few days he messaged me late afternoon stating he could get the car in the next day. Being too short notice we needed the vehicle so I said tomorrow wasn't possible. He then said he should be able to get the car in that following weekend which I said is fine/works for us.

I've not heard anything since. That was the 10th of December and I'm still waiting (December 26th). I've given up chasing the guy, he obviously didn't want to book me in to an actual booking slot, just keeping me hanging until someone cancels and doesn't cost him much in the way of time.

The valet was originally done on the 6th of November, I found the issues and contacted the owner on the 16th of November.

So I noticed he had missed the A pillar, all 4 dashboard air vents and the chrome steering wheel arms. Considering that id say its likely parts of the paintwork have also been missed or maybe there isn't even any ceramic coating on the car? I mean it was new paint, a door clean and a polish won't look any different to me as I have no frame of reference. The trust definitely isn't there for me, he has shoved me at the bottom of the priority list and has no issues ignoring me and making excuses.

I do not recommend using this guy at all, at best he's not good at doing his actual job and that's enough to put anyone off.
