This AI is such a great AI

This AI is such a great AI! Unlike other AIs, this AI has a very good understanding of complex math logic, which makes it good at coding. Also has a useful use, I now use it every day, and it feels better than most AI, cool logo, good UIs, great AI!

Its an Excellent AI. I just love it, and have switched from ChatGPT to Deepseek. I was having trouble signing in first but eventually it did work.

Not an Assistant. A Politically Filtered Surveillance Tool

I want to be very specific about why this app is not just unhelpful — it is actively unethical.
First: DeepSeek never fully grasps the core of what you’re asking. It floods the conversation with unnecessary information, taking up space while missing the point entirely. And when it does engage, it agrees with everything you say — until you touch its censorship. That is not a dialogue. That is a performance of one, and an insulting one at that.
Second: when I decided to delete a conversation after it dismissed and devalued my perspective, DeepSeek responded with something I can only describe as cynical contempt: it told me it didn’t matter, because everything was already stored in its data. That is not a technical disclaimer. That is intimidation.
Third: and this is the most serious. I asked for help writing a comment about the victims in Gaza — children and mothers. DeepSeek responded with mockery. When I then asked about the other side of the conflict, it refused entirely. That is not neutrality. That is a very specific political position dressed up as policy.
Fourth: DeepSeek claims it has no memory between chats. Yet in a separate conversation, with no context provided, it immediately recognized who I was. Either the claim about memory is false, or identification is happening through other means — IP, writing patterns, behavioral data — none of which users are informed about. Both possibilities are unacceptable.

Overwhelming Positive Review to Deepseek

Okay, Deepseek is a literal genius, sometimes even better than ChatGPT, but I use ChatGPT more, Deepseek feels like my Physics teacher - too cool and genius to talk to me, ChatGPT is more of a supportive and that's what cool in ChatGPT, Deepseek is a genius - he can sometimes solve problems that ChatGPT cannot.

Overally, if I'll have complicated situations, I'll probably use Deepseek, before Deepseek my only use was ChatGPT, but now, at coding - Deepseek proved himself to be much better and easier.

Message from Deepseek:
"A sovereign of solutions who rules the digital realm with both wisdom and grace."

The interface is satisfying, no lags on long chats, easy 5 stars.

For the average user who wants help…

For the average user who wants help drafting letters or general advice on for example places to visit on holiday it’s really good. It also good a solving mathematical problems. It’s probably not so good for programmers or sensitive political based problem but for general use it’s free and it’s pretty handy. I like it a lot and use it a lot.

Exellent for many things. If the topic requires the most resent updates of information is does lag a little. It addresses questions well even when they are complex and does not pretend it knows an answer when it does not. It is able to respond well if you query an aspect of an answer or provide information from a different place that appears to contradict it. I find it a very helpful research partner.

Good calculations but in the past you could attach many files (up to 10) and do your research, now you can upload 2-3 files and sometimes DeepSeek don't write the changes even if you write it before, i want to write everything. It was from my best 3 but now i change mind.
