I’m not sure about this sharpener. I’m glad that I gotit and that it’s made specifically for my pastel pencils, however, I seem to have problem sharpening without breaking the pastel. Im not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Brilliant for soft and oil Pastels which tend to be of a larger bore. Excellent on Hard and medium Charcoal but not for soft. (For softs I would recommend a blade. ) A useful and handy tool for the art box
It sharpens well but doesn't get a large sharp point to the pencil.

Very good quality and good to use
Great pastel pencil sharpeners. I used to use ordinary sharpeners before with disastrous results! but these do the job well. So simple, but useful.
Great. Doesn't break pastels
This is the only sharpener for coloured pastel pencils that works for me. The leads don't break as often with this as with others. Wish there were spare blades though.
Very good sharpener .much needed for the care of your pencils.
Excellent for pastel pencils, just the right angle of point.
OK but not as good as I had hoped
not impressed this wont last for long, the metal sharpeners are best or those made out of polythene as opposed to plastic
