Devils Porridge -- Great for Kids whether aged 9 or 90

Having been to the Devils Porridge Museum in Eastrigs, Dumfriesshire many times I can highlt reccomend it as a visitor attraction par exelence. This is not a passive mueum where you look and cannot touch. It is an active museum where visitors are invited to participate, whether it is driving a WW1 Fireless Steam locomotive or re-enacting the WW2 evacuee's experience If the weather outside is not so nice, take the kids to the Devils Porridge and let them loose for the time of their lives.
