Poor service delivery
We initially liked the furniture and placed an order in May 18th after being assured that it would be delivered by suggested Our original delivery date was July 27th, but this date has since been changed 4 times.
We have also paid the full amount upfront, despite the ongoing delays and uncertainty around delivery. We have now moved into our new home with virtually no furniture, and we are currently having to sit on the floors and use camping chairs as a temporary measure. This has been extremely frustrating, inconvenient and disappointing.
Unfortunately, customer service has not been able to provide a reliable delivery date, and we keep receiving different dates whenever we contact them. The lack of clear communication and consistency has made the whole experience very stressful.
While the furniture itself appears to be good quality, the delivery service and overall customer experience have been extremely poor. It feels as though customers are being taken for granted, particularly after paying the full amount in advance.
Based on our experience, I would no longer recommend ordering from DFS. The quality of the furniture may be good, but the service, communication and reliability of the delivery process have been extremely disappointing.
