My package was sent the 21st of December 2020 and I was supposed to get it latest the 31st of December which is my wedding dresses (3 dresses) for that matter, they paid $260 to DHL for the shipping only... The dresses all together cost around $2000.
I waited for it all the time, going back and forth to the door to check if it has arrived but nothing, I started getting worried about it cos my wedding was the 3rd of January, I started calling everyday finding out my package, tracking shows me that it got to Dallas the 24th of December but it's no where to be found, I started crying day and night trying to be patient with them but nothing... No one can explain anything that can assure you that you will get your package... I started giving up and finding other options for my wedding which was really hectic... Still giving me excuses about not finding it...
Later then I was told that the package is lost and I have to let the shipper write a claim... He did and the next day he was told he'll only be refunded $170, I tried calling them again to talk to a supervisor but I was told that the supervisor will call me back, I tried 3 different customer service and they told me the same... It's been more than a week from now no calls, nothing... I am so disappointed with DHL and will never recommend anyone to ship with them...

Horrible service
Their service is horrible...lost packages, over billing, brain dead customer support. My experience has been terrible with them - not to mention I find their rates to be a lot more expensive then other couriers when shipping from the US

Got a text that my package had been delivered..when in fact it hadn't and probably dropped at another address in error. It took 1 email to their Customer service and within 1 hour the package was retrieved and delivered to me ! This is Customer Service at its best ! DHL have a professional dedicated team totally focused on dealing with these issues and I couldn't ask for more. Totally satisfied with their assistance. Thank you DHL.

We ordered a morracan mosiac globe lamp containing 7 mosaic glass globes from Istanbul Turkey on Sunday January 17th. It arrived today in Colorado on January 21. Not only did it arrive 6 days ahead of time, the box and all its contents were in pristine condition and the courier very pleasant.

worst company to ship to Latin America
honestly, this is the worst shipping company save yourself the nightmare of shipping through them. I paid for home delivery on Dec 29 and as of today Jan 8 they called saying that my receiver has to make a two-hour drive to pick the package up and pay customs. Customer service is the worst they never give you a resolution. please if you are shipping to Latin America DO NOT SHIP THROUGH DHL!

Honestly
Honestly, this is one of worst experience I have had. My package was shipped on 30th December and haven’t received my package as of today(01/05) I have been calling the customer service who wouldn’t help me anything other than reading the info from their site.
The package was on hold for atleast three days in US(Ohio) which shouldn’t take more than 2 and 1/2 hours to fly from Ohio to the destination.
A bride missed her wedding dress because of this delay. I had been calling them like a stupid everyday to see if they expedite the process. They don’t even have option to expedite if we pay extra money.
They can’t give me the ETA on the shipment as well. Either their tracking system/logistics is really bad or they are not willing to give right info to the customer.
Over all we just have to follow the status on site and the company cannot provide any additional service to customer.
Appalling service
Firstly my parcel arrived 2 days late because according to customer services it had been mislaid.
Secondly the first customer service agent I spoke to on told me that the parcel was on its way and would be delivered that day when in fact it was misplaced
Thirdly (and this is the worst part of all!) when the parcel finally arrived it was left on my doorstep with a blank calling card on top of it. The delivery person didn't wait to see if I was at home or not. Had I not been at home the parcel would have been stolen as I live on a busy street where everything is stolen from our front gardens (even plants). This is not a safe area to leave such things and any intelligent person can see that. He/she should have waited because I was at home (and I came to the door as soon as I heard the doorbell), left it with a neighbour or left a calling card with the option of a redelivery.
Finally I sent the above as a complaint to DHL customer services and yet nearly 3 weeks later I haven't even had a reply.
DHL responsible for my only lost packages
DHL was responsible for my only lost packages this year. Three (3) packages right before Christmas! Totaling close to $700 worth of merchandise. Christmas presents for five families.
Just getting ahold of a person there is as difficult as reaching someone in a government office. Nearly impossible with 2-3 hr wait times only to be told there was nothing they could do in that dept and transfer you to start the wait process all over again. After investigating one package twice they finally admitted fault, but were still not going to take responsibility for reimbursement on the packages they lost. There is even record of them delivering the largest package to the wrong address and without obtaining a required signature for that delivery. They are still trying to void their responsibility and mistake. DHL lost Christmas for five families just on our three packages. What else have they lost? I will be very conscience of not using DHL from now on. Terrible experience.
DHL driver drove past my apt
DHL driver drove past my apt, and the complex office without stopping. I got a text two minutes later saying my address was incorrect. Logged on and sure enough my address was correct. Messaged customer service and Joshua answered zero questions before ending the chat. Called and they had me verify my address, said it was correct but theu didn't know when it would be delivered! The driver had just been here 40mins prior! So lazy.

I bought an item online for $35 plus $15 shipping. I WILL NOT EVER be buying anything again from any business who uses DHL Express. It was to be here by Christmas. For 10 days it has sat overseas with no tracking, order or info updated. This was my first and last time for this company.

They refuse to deliver my express package 24 hours after the inclement weather had passed. Then comes the weekend, and then they will 'try' for Monday+. I understand, snow is scary for some, but they also refused to be picked up in person.
This was my first order with them and most certainly the last.
Absolutely the worst shipping company…
Absolutely the worst shipping company on the planet. When I see DHL as the shipper I automatically know (1) at best my package will be late, at worst it won't arrive at all (2) I'll be able to track the package only up to when DHL picks it up, after that the technology is too advanced for DHL to use (3) never, ever, under any circumstance do business with the company that chose DHL as their shipping partner again.
Horrendous customer service
When I received the tracking information for a shipment from a vendor, I noticed that the house number in the shipping address was incorrect. I contacted the vendor, who told me that they were unsuccessful, and that I would have to contact DHL. Not finding a phone number on DHLS's web site even in the customer service page, I sent an e-mail from that page. After receiving no response, I used Google to find the DHL customer service number, and got to speak with someone... who said that only the vendor could get the house number on the shipping address changed.
I still have not received a response to the e-mail I sent, and I am only getting a runaround here. Unacceptable.

This company is terrible, i've been waiting days or my delivery and it was suppose to be here today! The delivery man came by and didnt even knock on my door and let a sorry we missed you notice! So I called my local DHL and it took 7 minutes for someone to pick up as soon as the lady picked up she asked for my name and then said " **** Can I put you on hold for a sec? " i said yes and the lady left me sitting or 29 minutes so I then hung up and called the DHL support and they picked up and said they will try to get my guy to come back but he wont come back. I then made a live chat and the lady hasnt texted back in 13 minutes so im assuming its a fake live chat! Avoid DHL with all you can.
1/3 of order never arrived
Ordered from Amazon Japan. 12 of the 18 items in my order made it to me but for some reason DHL “repacked” the box and the other six items disappeared. After weeks of waiting, they still have no idea where they are or if they will ever be delivered. They were large but expensive items so it’s especially suspicious that they are permanently missing. I would never choose DHL and it’s unfortunate that Amazon uses them so often.
