Writing this review for 'Diamonds By Me' truly is a pleasure. I ordered a ring to be delivered abroad and was initially quite anxious about whether it would arrive on schedule. From the moment I reached out, the Diamonds By Me team put me at ease. They provided an estimated delivery date, and when a delay occurred, they immediately emailed me with both the reason and reassurance.

Who stood out most was 'Iris'. I contacted Diamonds By Me several times, and each time Iris offered honest, thoughtful updates. Her steady communication by phone and email, turned what could have been a stressful delay into a surprisingly smooth experience. I felt informed, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout the process. Thank you Iris!

When my ring finally arrived, I was overwhelmed by the exquisite craftsmanship. The presentation box and the accompanying certification report added an extra touch of quality and professionalism. I would certainly use this company again in the future.

Service was great. They understand their craft. The delivery was right on time indicated at payment. The package was also good and the product had zero scratches and defects. Sapphire stone, platinum ring and lab grown diamonds of highest grade. They are real.

Its a beautiful ring but was so nice to be able to choose my own diamond, and then order a plastic version so that I could try it before I bought it. It took a couple of weeks to arrive but it was worth it!

I'm more than satisfied with the ring I bought. Just as advertised and true to the design choices I selected while purchasing the ring. My only cautionary advice for those looking to purchase from DBM from Latin America is to be aware of the import taxation, it's brutal.

Fast shipping. Had to contact them for more info about the process, they do not send you further info from the payment until the piece is made and ready to ship. Taxes higher than expected

We’ve purchased three rings from DBM-an engagement ring in 2024 and two wedding rings now-and all of them are wonderful. The sizing was perfect, the rings are beautiful, and the delivery was precise and reliable.

As the company’s public response to my previous review directly contradicts their own written emails to me, I feel compelled to leave a further review including direct quotes.

My engagement ring bent to the point of snapping within the first six months. I was confident I had not done anything to cause this level of damage, but despite this I still accepted responsibility and paid for a repair.

After receiving the ring back, I was genuinely afraid to wear it. Often going days without wearing it at all and became extremely cautious in daily life. Despite this, less than a few months later the ring began to bend again.

In emails, the company repeatedly attributed the problem to the material itself. For example, I was told:

“Platinum is harder than gold when it comes to scratches and dents, but it is actually softer than gold when it comes to bending or deforming the ring.”

and

“Platinum is naturally more flexible than white gold. Because of this, a platinum ring can bend more easily when pressure is applied. This is a characteristic of the material itself and not a manufacturing defect.”

I was also asked whether I wore the ring while sleeping, which was suggested as a possible cause of the damage. As I do not sleep with my ring on , or sleep under a concrete block for that matter, I didnt accept that this would cause “significant pressure or force”, as they implied. I did not consider this a reasonable explanation for a platinum engagement ring bending and failing in this way.

However, when I later pointed out that this explanation directly contradicts what is stated on the company’s own website about platinum being suitable for everyday wear, the company immediately reversed their approach. In their public response, they claimed they had not attributed the issue to the material at all and denied saying this, despite the above statements being in writing.

Throughout this process, I provided extensive evidence that the ring was worn normally. Including explaining my daily activities, medical limitations that rule out heavy lifting or force, and the fact that I wear other rings daily made from much softer metals which have never bent or deformed. This evidence was never addressed, and they continued to imply the bending was my fault.

They also claimed they had never seen a ring with this level of deformation, yet multiple other reviews show similar experiences. At one point, I was offered a partial refund only if the company kept the ring, leaving me without the ring and without a full refund, a completely unreasonable solution.

Most concerningly, after I left a negative review, I was told:

“It becomes difficult for us to continue offering goodwill solutions if negative information keeps being shared…”

This made it clear that continued assistance was being made conditional on me not speaking publicly about my experience.

Due to this pressure, and concerns about getting my ring back at all, I felt forced to accept a so called “goodwill” repair, despite being clear that I did not believe it addressed the root cause.

I genuinely feel bullied and manipulated by this company and the whole situation has caused significant stress and anxiety and has completely overshadowed what should have been a happy engagement experience.

I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision about what kind of company they want to associate with.

I had a great experience with my purchase and am thrilled with my new gold & pearl drop earrings. They are the perfect size for me. Received quickly….thanks DiamondsByMe 🤗
