Avoid. Do not throw away your money on this garbage.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Bought a data plan for use in Fiji, Denarau island. No data reception at all, 125 gb and cannot access any of it. Called and was told they had issues nearby. 7 days later, same issue and cannot access data. Try smoke signals and carrier pigeons to get a message to someone, you will have better success.

Worst company in the world ?

Bought a SIM in Martinique for 3gb. Lucky if I used 3mb as the service is always down. I write this review in the one minute where the service seems to be back up (don't worry it will be gone in a few minutes time !)
Awful, awful company.
Charge for a service and then don't provide anything for their ridiculously expensive service.

This is a breakup that should have…

This is a breakup that should have happened years ago. They keep increasing the price of their cable service with no new offering, the cost just keeps creeping up. I enjoy dealing with customer service and I know they can't help beyond a point but it's like Digicel nuh respect ppl pocket.

Digicel really knows how to exploit…

Digicel really knows how to exploit people. They took money off of my phone and try to justify charges, my mobile data was off because I was using wi-fi, and I made sure to turn off auto-renewal and then they're telling me I made calls. If I made a digi to digi or even digi to flow phone call how much credit is that going to use up?? I hardly use my phone to make calls anyway. Smh!!!

On another note, I don't have any issues with digicel's internet.

Stay away

Stay away! It’s a ripoff
I bought a Sim card which doesn’t have any telephone allowance it turns out. Then I bought additional top up and found out afterwards that it still doesn’t give you any allowance! Stay away. It’s probably cheaper just to use your foreign provider for phone calls and try to use the Internet when on Wi-Fi.

Digicel is a rip off

Digicel is a rip off. They take your money and change plans without telling you. They manipulate the public and take advantage of people who are trying to stay in touch with loved ones. They find every way to rob people in both countries. There is no number to call in U.S. No one to talk to and no responses to emails.

THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!

They are in breach of data protection…

They are in breach of data protection regulations, because they bombard you with tacky messages no matter how often you unsubscribe. And when you move islands you lose whatever credit you had, they will sell you a new plan THAT DOES NOT WORK.

Switch to Flow. Less crooked, less irritating, less designed to catch you out

Expensive, non existent service...

First of all if there was a zero star option, it would've been picked instead of the 1 out 5 star option.
Digicel first launched itself in the Republic of Nauru on September 2009. And since then the cost of an almost non existent service is still outrageously high. I mean I do understand they still need to make a profit and setting up shop in an island such as ours is very costly. But now it is May 2021 and nothing has changed, we keep paying for expensive data plans while most the time there are network outages so we cannot get calls through or use the internet. And when it is on it is very slow, I mean 1 kilobyte per second slow. So it is very frustrating, having your data plan expire while you haven't been able to do anything with it. So basically we are paying for a non existent service. And we have no choice they are the only service providers here and the take advantage of the circumstances and the people, their customers. So Digicel has been doing this for 12 years give or take, and the funny thing is there is nothing wrong with the network when you apply for the plan, but when you turn on your internet everything just loads...you have used 50% data, you have used 70% data, you have used 100% data, oops you ran out of data, but I didn't get to do anything. There is alot more I can say but my network is dodgy so I will leave it there.

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE AND NO SERVICE CONSTANTLY

This company should be shut down. There is no customer service - You ask for supervisors etc no call back - The worst thing about digicel is they expect you to pay extortionate amounts of money for internet that they dont/wont provide. I found out about they way they throttle data connection speeds even on so called unlimited internet deals which i paid for 11 days ago and they say is no out of data... most of my time is spent reloading pages and apps again and again because they fail to load due to them strangling your speed down to 2G or a maximum of 0.1 kbps per second. in 2021 this fails to load even my email or my banking app. This is rip off and robbery of some of the most poorest people during the covid 19 pandemic and blocking childrens access to the internet and schooling as an example. i have spend another $750 JMD on a top up which is unfair after just paying 6500 JMD only 11 days ago and its still the same story of 2G speeds just draining away the extra 2 gig i bought - social media wont load or youtube which i am now with the extra add on supposed to get unlimited of. Home internet i have also been trying to get for 7 months with numerous calls and chats on the app and not a word. TAKE YOUR MONEY RUN ELSEWHERE is my advice. I know sadly there is not much choice but all of us who are very unhappy should make a formal complaint to the telecommunications complaints department for your island. - Another issue is going to the Digicel shop to ask for help - they do not help and if you complain a security guard will remove you from the premises.

Don't let the shiny new logo and app fool you it's the same old digicel

They are scammers there is no two ways about it! They rip you off, have a fragile network that hardly works and terrible customer service!

The truth is digicel has always been bad and they try to act like they are this new digital company which is a load of nonsense! They are the exact same company with the exact same morals just have a new logo, app and Amazon named bundles they aren't even imaginative! Don't fall for it!

Kiss my A$$ digicel

Kiss my A$$ digicel. So on the mydigicel app there is a plan that says 23g and 450 free minutes for 8 dollars. I clicked to activate it and was given a whole diff plan worth 2g. I tried the support system where i was speaking with an agent to try and rectify the issue and i could swear these agents dont listen to pple before offering assistance. The woman told me credit me that i had taken 2 days prior and what my current balance was and yet to address my issue. I had to explain myself about 5 times repeating the same thing over and over in different ways just so she'd catch on and it was a total disaster. My then i was frustated. Then she tried the I'M EXPERIENCING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES line on her end and asked me to call the 100 toll free number.. I did only after about 10 mins of prompts to be redirected back to that same agent where i had to explain everything again. At the end of it all my issue wasnt dealt with and the agent advised that i visit my local store. Went to the local store here in Grenada and more $HIT. The had to call the head office in st. Lucia to put in my issue where i was told to wait atleast 24hrs for a response... which by then will not even matter. We need competition in the Caribbean cause digicel doing what they want and Im fed up. Flow self makes no sense either

Digicel is the worst company so I tried to top up my friend that lives in Jamaica phone I did everything I was supposed to do and submit I then got an error message stating that it did not go through and no money will be taken from my account. Two days later I called my credit card company to check on my transactions I then found out digicel took $31.25 from my account I then called my friend to see if she got the credit she told me no I have tried to call digicel to resolve this issue but I keep getting the run around my credit card company said I have to talk to digicel to get a refund of my monies. To date no one has called me back. Worst company ever

If I could give Digicel a negative star…

If I could give Digicel a negative star rating I would, that's how horrible of a company they are. Firstly, their data plans that they advertised as "unlimited" was really a 25 GB limit per billing cycle. Their employee cannot resolve any issue because they have no way of doing so. They treat their call centre workers like trash and because of the horrible service they provide they leave their workers dealing with a bunch of angry customers. THEY CHARGED my credit card TWICE, AFTER I OPTED OUT of my data plan which was on auto pay. After contacting one of their agents I was told that I COULD GET IT BACK IN CREDIT WDF!!!!! My credit card is in USD and you you're trying to tell me that a mistake that DIGICEL MADE I must ultimately pay for???? So digicel credit could equate to the value of my USD? I am so close to taking legal action against them for their utter stupidity. THE WORST!!! Time for another company to come to Trinidad and Tobago.

No better than the competition

I live in a country where Digicel is only one of the 2 companies that deal with ISP; issues with them are that Digicel is no better than their competition- They don't offer broadband services for residential clients, they make false promises, e.g. promoting 4G when they only offer 3G speeds & they're overpriced when it comes to corporate services. They impressed with good speeds on mobile devices at first, but they've gone down in performance to the point that the competitor has gained the edge.

I know, because I was a long time corporate client as well as mobile client (still the case, have a SIM of theirs that I use as 2nd number).
