Very reluctant to send the vhs tape in the post as it’s an original, no master copy from 1995, and I haven’t watched it in over 20 years and sadly my husband died 9 years ago so I was very hesitant as I sent off my wedding vhs tape to be converted into a pen drive. Sent on Tuesday morning, emailed on the Wednesday to say it had arrived. Emailed again on Thursday to say it had been converted with no issues and another email to say it had been dispatched on Friday. Arrived back well packaged on the Saturday. Absolutely amazing service. I haven’t watched it yet, but I know it’s great as my daughter checked it. Honestly delighted with the service and will watch it one day 💕💔

I have now used Digital Converters multiple times for some incredibly important family memories, including childhood photographs, DVDs, VHS-related media and cloud backups, and every single experience I’ve had with them has been excellent from start to finish.

The quality of the finished products has genuinely amazed me. Old photographs that were fading or ageing came back looking almost brand new after scanning, and the digital copies were incredibly clear and professionally done. The DVDs, USBs and cloud backups all worked perfectly across my devices, including my iPhone, TV and laptop.

What really stands out though is the customer service. Every member of staff I spoke with was patient, kind, understanding and helpful. They always replied quickly to my emails, answered every question I had, kept me updated throughout the process and handled everything with real care and professionalism. I never once felt rushed or ignored.

A lot of the memories I trusted them with were deeply personal family memories connected to adoption, reconnecting with siblings and preserving moments that cannot ever be replaced. Because of that, trusting a company with the originals was a huge thing for me, but they handled everything safely and respectfully every time. All my original media and photographs were returned safely and in excellent condition.

I also really appreciated how flexible and accommodating they were when I needed to amend orders, add extra photographs, use gift voucher balances, arrange additional copies and ask questions about postage and tracking. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them.

The whole process from ordering, tracking, sending media, cloud access and delivery was smooth and very well organised. Their communication throughout is honestly one of the best I’ve experienced from any company.

I would absolutely recommend Digital Converters to anyone wanting to preserve important memories digitally. The service, quality, communication and care they provide are genuinely outstanding.

Amazing! Fabulous communication. I would strongly recommend this company they transferred my hubby's old mouldy VHS tapes, great quality, service & speed. It took about a week and the transfers were all good quality. Everything arrived back in the same condition as they were originally sent.

Brilliant service with a very quick turnaround. Kept me updated on the process and great to see the footage again.

If you are converting anything (miniDVs in my case) , I very strongly recommend this company, especially for their quality, service, speed, among other things. At first I was a bit skeptical, considering how many 5 star reviews there are, but all the good publicity is well deserved. The service was great, and I loved that I was able to see each of my 10 cassettes go through every stage of the process. It took about a week and the transfers were all good quality, even the ones I thought were damaged from so many years (2007). I opted for the fast cloud service. They all arrived back in the same condition as they were originally. Great experience!

Where to begin? I made a few enquiries from other companies before choosing to go with Digital Converters and I am very pleased to have made this choice. I was pleased to learn that they return your videos once the conversion is completed- lots of their competitors merely retain your videos for a certain amount of time prior to destroying them claiming it is too expensive to return tapes to you.
I had the 3 VHS-c tapes, which were recorded by a friend, transferred to a pendrive. I was happy to wait however long it was going to take for the copy to be completed. I very carefully parcelled the tapes with bubble wrap and brown paper aswell as placing in an outer box having labelled each tape with my details aswell as the order number on each tape which we received from Digital Converters after I'd paid for the work to be completed.
Taking into account we were married in 1998 I was a little concerned as to whether the condition of the tapes was going to be good enough for making the transfer. I needn't have worried as Digital Converters let me know the tapes would be alright to transfer.
Throughout the whole process Digital Converters kept in touch via email - I let them know when the parcel had been posted using Royal Mail's Track and Trace service, I had an email to say the parcel had arrived, then I received a message to say work was going to commence on my tapes. 24 hours passed and I received an email to say the transfer was completed and the pendrive was on its way again via Royal Mail's Track and Trace. Next morning it arrived, the most precious thing ever had arrived! As much as I eagerly wanted to watch it instantly I decided to wait until the evening. From the moment I clicked on play I sobbed my heart out. 28 years have passed since our wedding and loads of our guests including my beloved Dad had died.
The condition of the transfer is absolutely phenomenal; it is absolutely awesome. My daughter will be 39 in July she was just a little girl when we were married and from the video it is so obvious how happy she was as were we of course.
This was the best decision I ever made; the best choice of company to do the work for us. Their attention to detail is second to none, nothing was too much trouble. The recording started outside the church on a fairly grey and windy day in May. Inside the church the colours of the flowers and ribbons are really clear and precise.
Filming us signing the register has perfect sound reproduction and perfect colours and images. Everything Digital Converters have done is beyond perfect and I cannot recommend them enough. The video of the afternoon reception with lovely coloured balloons, the meal, the cake and all the colours of the guests' dresses in particular have transferred exceptionally well.
The evening reception was in subdued lighting but all the film has transferred perfectly well; I can do nothing but exude praise for this company who I knew nothing about some 3 weeks ago and now I can do nothing but says how exceptional they really are.
The communication is exemplary, the timings for receiving the copies is amazing. The packaging for the return of the pendrive and videos was careful neat and tidy. For the service received the charges were very reasonable with an opportunity to return with further items to be transferred.
The whole transaction was absolutely perfect, the staff were just the most delightful, kind and helpful souls.
If you've read thus far I appreciate you taking the time to digest all I've had to say. There is so much more I'd like to write but hopefully reading my praise and gratitude is enough for you to take the decision to have your own transfers done by Digital Converters.

Received my media a memory stick today. Absolutely speechless with the quality of the results. Having lost my dear wife recently I decided to have our cine fims from the early 80s digitised. Digital converters seemed a good bet so I sent them off. Watched the conversion today. Ever have I seen these films presented with such clarity. No flicker or jerkiness, just natural movement. Yes, my bad cinematography and camera work are still glaringly obvious. But to see my beautiful wife and children in their younger days just had me in tears. Don't go anywhere else. DC is the place.

Can't fault the service and the speed and the communication. I knew what was happening to my VHS tape, and before I knew it, I had a digital copy and it was back with me.

Sent my mini dv tapes to be converted on Saturday 28th March, arrived at the company on Monday 30th, completed order returned to me by Thursday 2nd April.

Each tape had been converted onto its own dvd,(other formats were available), and were enclosed in a Hama fabric case.

Some of my tapes were 20 years old, but the quality of the conversions are excellent, and it is wonderful to see memories of my family again.

I can highly recommend using this firm, from initial contact to return, I could follow the progress of my order on a dashboard, and the customer support were prompt to answer my queries.

Absolutely fantastic service, kept me upto date on every inch of the process. Turn around was exceptionally brisk. Good to see 35 year old home Video's. Highly recommended.

I've now placed three separate orders with Digital Converters involving several DV camcorder tapes, CDs and c. 4,500 photos. I've been exceptionally pleased with all of them. The website is helpful, the photo scanning first class, the tape & CD conversions excellent, turnaround times prompt, the pricing competitive and the customer service outstanding. I've subsequently recommended the company to two other people who have also placed orders and been equally impressed. Its rare for a company to receive so many 5 star reviews as this one but you can see why. If only other companies could learn from this one.

Wow I had abice and beyond first class service from Digital Converters.. need 4 rolls of film from 1937 in digital version by 18th March they arrived a few days ago .. amazing service snd the quality was incredible., thanks so much ..

I have been thinking about converting camcorder tapes to digital for ages, but didn't get round to it. I wish I had done it years ago.
Everything was so straightforward, communication was good, turnaround quick, quality great.
I should have done it years ago but didn't know where to send them. So if you are thinking about it, do it now and send them to Digital Converters.

We sent you a very old reel to reel tape from my father in laws days at the BBC big band, 50+ years ago !
Not valuable but irreplaceable, so we were nervous
We were kept informed at every stage, and the process was very smooth and efficient.
The recording was transferred to cd and data stick.
We received the recording back and my father in law really enjoyed the trip down memory lane. The quality was excellent.
