I’ve been on the forums for just over 18 months now, it is a great forum, and the majority of forum members are OK but you do get a few who like to bully others (myself) included. Fortunately however, it does have an ignore list that people can use should they feel that they are being bullied by other members!

Won't let me read articles anymore without logging in, yet the log in link doesn't work.

They dropped the general conversation forum, its just full of Daily Mail readers and sad trolls

There is a user called Tanya1984 and she is the death star of this forum. All she does is get people banned and shame on the moderators for entertaining her fantasies about rape

Registered to post a comment a week ago and received an email saying my application would be reviewed by their moderation team and have heard nothing since ! I suspect that they can't be bothered with new applications to comment because the forums are about to die the death and probably not before time . There seems to be the usual band of left wing posters who get away with posting anything with they like . I saw one posters comments immediately jumped on and called right wing by someone for something quite innocuous and which had no reference to politics at all ! Its just weird and aggressive behaviour and the moderators do nothing unless you have views that they agree with . Best to just stay away its not worth the trouble.

Signed up. Couldn’t post anything. Next day my account was gone. Couldn’t login. No email from them. No nothing.

Such a shame to see a once great forum go to wreck and ruin. I used to enjoy posting here to talk about various topics. But it seems that if you have an opinion that doesn't correlate to the mod and admin team behind the forums you get banished into oblivion. This forum has officially become an echo chamber where they only want those with the same ideological opinion. Let them have their shoddy echo chamber. We can all laugh about the sheer idiocy and ridicule and deconstruct their crazy false conspiracy theories about Russia, Putin, Trump, Brexit et al.

Don't waste your time with this forum it's gone like the dinosaurs. DS will be extinct just like them soon enough.

first of all let's clarify what we're talking about here, there is digitalspy.co.uk and forums.digitalspy.com/ but all I see here is reviews on their Forums! Trustpilot just shows digitalspy.co.uk and this is misleading, there should be two different review categories. Anyway I join the majority on here giving their forums just 1 star. most forums I know have staff who are leaders, leaders who are visible and contribute to the discussions. from what I saw (on my first 2 days) was the staff choose to hide between one way glass, they can see you but you cant see them and their favourite pastime is sending out blocks of text to you, copied from a template Library. You get a "WARNING" for posting in the wrong area, but your post is not moved to the "Right area," but rather deleted and that is the end of that , as you clock up more and more warnings your ability to post on their forums is slowly reduced. On a normal forums the staff gain kudos, they have respect from their members, but on here the faceless, nameless staff supervise behind a one way glass, when you get a warning from them, there's no name, just a corporate block text, completely impersonal, you *never* see staff contributing to discussions that is left to the thousands of members who - having received several warnings - are easily controlled as to what they can or cant post, real shame, I initially thought the forums looked great but 48 hours on, I am left with a different view. Their staff are not interested in your views at all, you are just a number and there are thousands more where you come from, so have another warning.

Created a forum account and was informed it would be activated once a moderator had checked it. Next morning the account was *deleted*. I attempted to ask why via email and got no reply. And now it seems my IP is totally banned from the forum as I can not read any messages.

I only wanted to join to ask a question about freeview channels. I have never joined before. Why would they do this?

This forum has got to be the most toxic forum in the world. If i could give it 0 stars, I would! It doesn't even deserve one star it's that bad. And after reading other reviews, it doesn't surprise me one bit that there are others who hate it too. The sheer nastiness of the "regulars" is absolutely off the scale. They are patted on the back and get away with everything due to keeping this vile place open, thanks to practically living on it. I've never known anything like this forum in my life and can only imagine these sick people are psycho and sociopaths.

The people who run this forum are no better and really are batshit crazy. They claim that they have an anti bullying policy, yet allow certain members to go around acting like they own the forum and bullying other members, and will ignore, warn, jail or ban anyone who dares to complain about them. It seems the nastier they are, the more they are protected. I was jailed this morning, when really i would much rather just have my account banned. I despise this forum, it's hideous. I have actually asked for my account to be deleted along with my details, but they will not listen. They are breaking the law by keeping banned account details.

As a anxiety sufferer, who actually feels things, that makes me different to the vile majority on this forum and as a result of my anxiety I have been abused on there for almost 3 years. I have even been cyberstalked on a much nicer forum, by the same members. I'm very surprised this forum is still going, as it's a horrible place and gets worse! I really can't believe that there hasn't been a petition to get rid of it, but I can't wait for the day that Digital Spy forums are finally shut down. They need to be put out of their misery once and for all.

The moderation is a joke, you can't give an opinion unless it's woke. Moderators are so over the top, I think the site is almost dead now. You don't see many posts, I think they banned almost everyone on the site!

Glad to see the website is absolutely TANKING in the ranks, it has dropped 7,000 places in the global website ranking in just the last 90 days, page views massively down.

Yes I am confounded by what they allow and what they ban. If you are non left there is no point in participating. There is a pocket of members who seems to clamber onto the same forums and they slander and make sexist remarks usually about a Conservative woman and all you see are likes, no warning or removal. I was removed today after voicing my opinion about the negative/nasty posters who ruin it. I was warned however I take it as a badge of honour and am delighted. They should rename DS Forum Echo Chamber.

Don't bother with socialistspy because unless you are a communist who wants to legalize pedophilia then you will not be welcome to the cult and any comments against the abuse of children or women will be removed.

I can't believe this forum allows fascism and racism against white people. I'm mixed race, of South African afrikaans descent. I like everyone regardless of their skin colour. I am frustrated I got banned for calling out BLM. They don't care about Black Lives. They were never there with my cousin died in South Africa due to white genocide going on in my father's home country. Whites who are for BLM are self loathing and feel guilt because they think blacks are inferior to them which to me is racist. Also if there's any Blacks for BLM they support extremism and communism and anti white racism.

The decision for the Digital Spy to ban me from their community is a token of them agreeing with communism and extremism and anti white racism. The moderators on this forum are unfit for purpose. Clearly Regressive, Authoritarian and one sided.

Digital Spy's days are numbered if they keep up with banning and censoring anyone critical against BLM or anything some people disagree with. Free speech does not exist on this forum. I urge everyone to avoid this forum. Deprive them of your time. Do not contribute and feed the trolls here. They are the most nastiest and the most vilest of people I've ever found on the Internet...

If you miss the spite, fanaticism and leftist bigotry that was once found on DS's Political Forum, just go to the LBC Chitchat thread. It's in the Radio Forum, but the half dozen individuals who daily queue up to outdo each other in hatred for this country, its government and those whom they perceive to support it, have long since stopped pretending that it's about LBC. Rational discussion - i.e offering another point of view - has been made impossible, and long term regulars have either left or been banned. The mods have even given the thread its own set of T&Cs, which make it clear whose side they're on.
