terrible customer service relating to…

terrible customer service relating to someone called Simran. Don't take your dog if they are a large/giant breed. This place is not supportative.

I enquired in September 2023 with no response after providing my breed and vet details, and again in november 2023.

Update 6th May 2024:

IF THE VET DIDNT REPLY TO YOUR FORM YOU SHOULD EMAIL THE CUSTOMER. NOT ONLY THIS BUT YOU IGNORED 6 EMAILS OVER 3 MONTHS.
I can see the owner or manager replying to this review as some anger issues. If dippingdogs contacted my dogs vet and failed to hear anything in return they should have sent a email reminder to me to ask the vet to follow up. My dog is fully vaccinated so no excuses about regulation there. Maybe you should look at your own processes and practises before blaming other companies. You could have also requested my dogs vaccination card or a copy of his vet profile direct from me as his owner

Please contact me and I'll explain the process as its not put in place by us but our governing body and is not just a copy of your vaccination certificate but a signed form from your vet giving consent legally we cannot swim your dog without it. Every single dog who swims with us has been signed off by their vet, we aren't breaking any GDPR rules. It's to ensure that all dogs are fit and have no underlying conditions that could be affected by hydrotherapy. Apologies if you arent happy with this but it's the rules we must follow to practice.

Extremely Poor customer service & hygiene BE AWARE your dog could swim with poo in the water

Really disappointed with the service at Dippings Dogs.

I took my dog there on Sunday 08.03.20 for a booked session as I entered the facilities I asked if it was ok for my dog to enter the water "yes go ahead" they said, as I went closer to the ramp to let my dog off the lead I saw a whole pile of dog poo in the water, I then noticed droplets of poo everywhere within the pool.

The staff were really laid back about the situation kept me waiting 20 minutes with no communication while my dog got more & more anxious. They were unable to clear the poo attempting to use a net where the poo just seeped through back into the water. They did not tell me the pool would close, I was totally amazed at the lack of hygiene, to think any dog would be allowed to swim in an infested pool is most concerning.

I left asking for the manager to call me, which did the following Monday but the call tone was semi confrontational. I let the Manager know I was not only expecting an apology but a courtesy session at the very least due to my wasted journey the day before, her response was "I don't have the authority but will email you the owners contact details for you to contact them".

Having waited 24 hours for the owners contact details I now realise it was just lip service!

Clearly a business who has no customer retention values so I will take my money & dog elsewhere.

Excellent

I have been using dipping dogs for 6 years. Started because my Labrador puppy showed signs of hip dyplacia. It did the job and we have continued to go as she enjoys it and as she is aging is beneficial and various workouts for specific ailments.
I have had no experiences like the other reviewers and would not hesitate to recommend.

One out of five stars

Dipping dogs have basically stolen my money. I was meant to have an hour swim but I was only there for about fifteen minutes. They told me it's because they can't have more than one dog at the facility and another fog was waiting outside. They treated me badly and I think I deserve a refund.

Terrible

Terrible. They overbooked me and refused to rectify this afterwards. They said I would have to either wait six weeks for an appointment and lose my money or only have a five minute appointment and still pay full price. How is this fair? I am not happy at all and I think others deserve to know how they treat their customers.

AVOID!!!

Do not use this company. They are disgusting.
Firstly I asked for a 16.30 appoitment but it turns out that the receptionist booked me in for 18.30. Everyone makes mistakes and I don't hold grudges so I wasn't angry - it must have been a breakdown of communication. So, myself and the receptionist arranged for a new appointment of 17.30, which I was fine with.

However, I felt that the hydrotherapist rushed my session. I was meant to have a 30 minute session but my dog was in the pool for six minutes! It was his first time in a large pool like this so I video recorded the whole session from the beginning so I have clear evidence of the time he was in and out of the pool. The hydrotherapist took him in and out of the pool and allowed him to walk around. I have to note that I think it is fine for a dog to have a rest and walk around but not for the majority of the session! When he was in the pool, she held him to her chest and pulled him along the water rather than allowing him to swim. I could not believe that I paid almost £50 for a six minute swim, I expected 15-20 minutes in the pool at least (to factor in preparation and drying) so I am not happy.

At the end, when the hydrotherapist dried him. My dog was still soaking wet! I was practically ushered out of the building with a wet dog (I assume another client was on their way). If this is a usual protocol then I wish the receptionist or the website would state to bring a towel as I was taking the train home and my dog was shaking.

Lastly, when I emailed in to complain about this, I was met with defence. The manager brought up the fact that I was meant to arrive at 18.30. I had no clue what this had to do with the time my dog spent in the pool and she was very unapologetic. I couldn't believe it.

Please avoid these guys at all costs.
