Purchased 12 months travel insurance…
Purchased 12 months travel insurance for a couple, we both had a few age related health issues, nothing serious, we found Direct Travel provided the cover we required at a reasonable cost, we also found the website easy to understand and manoeuvre around. We have never claimed on any holiday insurance before and hope we never have the need to in the future, but as with any insurance the claim procedure is the true reflection of how good the Insurance Company is.

Great price,I was struggling to get insurance for medical issues at a fair price and direct travel provided it.

As per our email sent to you today in respect of your payment for travel insurance, we have checked our system, and we can confirm that the first payment attempt was rejected.
This can be due to a number of reasons, for example the address or postcode on the policy not matching the registered address of your card. A declined payment is usually card security driven, for the protection of your details and account.
We have not taken the first payment from your account, however, your bank may have given the transaction an authorisation code. It would therefore be shown as pending in your account and the monies would have been deducted out of your ‘available balance’.
Usually, your bank will release the amounts back into your account after a few working days. We are unable to refund you, as we will not have received these funds from your account. This is in the control of your bank and some banks will release these funds more quickly than others.
