Direct Outdoor Living 

I am still waiting for the item I ordered a month ago and they refuse to answer my emails. It is simply a fraudulent site, do not buy from them as you will not receive the goods.

On 28 November 2022, I received a gmail attaching an invoice allegedly from Direct Outdoor Living for goods I haven't bought. Furthermore, I have never dealt with this company. Fortunately, gmail recognised malware within the attached 'invoice' and alerted me. The email has been forwarded to Actionfraud. This company needs to be more alert to their company name and email address being used in this way.

I bought a table and chairs May 2020, had a few issues but were sorted with a couple o phone calls. I was worried the table wasn’t solid wood as described and looked damaged I was given £100 refund.ten months on the chairs are mainly good quality ( slightly wonky feet ) the table legs are good, but the table top is veneered not weathered looks really damaged and scruffy I’ve contacted company but received no reply.

Ordered rattan furniture on Sunday morning. From direct outdoor living. Tryed to deliver Wednesday but I was not in they got in touch with me and I asked for Tuesday they're very helpful and 09.15 Tuesday it came great service good quality would recommend very happy would buy off them again

We bought a lounge set for our garden off direct outdoor living and couldn’t be more happier with it. From the initial purchase, delivery and set up it was faultless they keep you notified every step of the way, even though we are going these terrible times I found they always put their customers first unlike some other companies out there. We will be buying off this company again. I recommend these to anyone just brilliant. Thank you Jane for the excellent service you provided for us!

Ordered the Bordeaux set which arrived within 2 days! Very impressed at the speed of delivery especially during lockdown. The set was very slightly damaged in transit but nothing worth sending back for. The cushions we received were cream but the set we ordered had shown grey cushions on the website, but we decided to keep it anyway. It’s lovely quality, looks great and is super comfy.

Five star customer service from Jane. Ordered the Bordeaux came within 3 days but was squashed in transit, she reordered me a new set and for collection of the old one with 2 days and it is beautiful! She has also explained what they are doing to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Well done Jane!

I was slightly apprehensive after reading a few negative reviews but because there were plenty of positive reviews also, we ordered!

We placed the order online on Saturday 2nd May for the Oxford Bistro two seater patio set and were given an email confirming a delivery date of 5th May, and even in the lockdown it arrived today, Tuesday 5th May! It was very well packed and arrived on a pallet which my husband asked the delivery driver if he would take the pallet back, which he did so a huge thanks to the delivery team.

The set is very well made, quality teak, the chairs were assembled and are very sturdy, the table just needed 8 bolts (key supplied) attached which were straight forward to do.
We cannot wait to use it tomorrow as the weather is set to be warm and dry :-)

We bought a rattan arrangement which unfortunately got damaged in transit. We emailed the company about it and came to an agreement very quickly. As the damage is out of view we agreed to keep the sofa and as an compensation we got a parasol instead. This was all sorted in a very short time with no hiccups. I forgot to say how pleased we are with our Corsica corner sofa, it’s quite difficult to buy everything on internet without trying it out. The sofas are very comfortable and look very stylish too. All in all great buy, great service and I definitely will recommend this company to anyone.

Highly recommended. Ordered sofa set, delivered within 3 days giving the current situation I would say that’s pretty good going. Sofa set itself is absolutely gorgeous. Well made and the colour is stunning. Much better than expected. Outstanding quality at cracking price. Delivered driver made me laugh too appreciate.

NEVER USE THEM!

Awful service - I ordered a garden furniture set a few weeks ago - as the delivery date is not mentioned on the website or the confirmation e-mail - which in itself is not acceptable. I got in touch with the company to find out when they plan to deliver, we agreed on a delivery date which was confirmed in writing. As the set did not arrive and I haven't received any e-mail, call, text I got in touch with them again only to find out that however they happily took my money away (GBP 600) the set is not in stock and they cannot deliver. Had I not called them would they ever have planned to let me know that they cannot deliver the set, or were they simply going to keep my money? This is absolutely not acceptable.

The quality of the customer service is very low - first they said they don't have any details on my order as they only look after the transport / delivery part but then they could manage my refund request (actually you have to explain why you need a refund for something which has never been delivered).

All the reviews are so bad about this company, I should not have given a chance to them.

Poor service, I ordered a Rattan sofa set (the Lisbon) after liaising with a member of staff over the phone l was told that the charcoal version was out of stock.(was showing in stock on the web Site ) after being convinced that the grey version was just as nice and could be delivered by Tuesday the following week I decided to ordered the grey set and payed £999.99 in full.
2 days later I received a email telling me that i had been refunded and the set was no longer available.

Not happy 😠

I did read the reviews about this company that was not great but decided to give them a chance. unfortunately the reviews was correct.

I would just like to echo on the previous reviews and I was hesitant due to previous poor reviews, but you have to take even view on these things.

That said we brought the deco concrete set, it’s massive for sure and really sets our patio area off and a great please to sit and enjoy lots of company.

It’s also very heavy the top is 94kg so make sure you have some help.

On the first delivery we received the correct legs but with a fault where the centre beam was the wrong length and the table had a crack on it.

I can only stress the level of customer service exceeded my expectations, we were offered a swap or a replacement, without hesitation, we took the swap on a day of my choice which went swimmingly, the delivery guy even helped me swap out the boxes.

I would definitely recommend this company in the way they handle complaints.

Fantastic communication and delivery. Even though I had an issue with a damaged item the company couldn’t do enough to sort the problem and the delivery driver was fantastic helping me lift the item into place with patience and skill. Overall a very good experience from a company that clearly care about customer satisfaction.

We were a little hesitant after reading the bad reviews but I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service that we received from Direct Outdoor Living. There was a problem with our order when it arrived but the customer services team were helpful, polite and sorted it really quickly. Would recommend this company and will definitely buy from them again!

Yes it came on a pallet, but how else would it be delivered.

Very pleased with my lovely garden furniture very well made and looks stunning everybody commented on it. arrived on the day stated in excellent condition very well packaged,on the delivery date I had unexpectedly had to work in the morning I had contacted the company over the weekend by email I had a phone call in the morning of delivery from a delightful lady and 2 emails advising me of times trying to fit in with me nothing was to much trouble would have no hesitation buying from them again

Bought the FRANCO dining set. Opened the container and found that everything was covered in bird droppings. The seats of both chairs were broken with the slats hanging off. The table had a slat missing later found at the bottom of the box snapped in two and another slat had not been secured and fell off. In short the set is totally bonfire ready.

30 day return only if item is returned in perfect condition, item delivered only to kerbside and you are left with a bloody great pallet to dispose of and although it does not say on webpage our item was a flat pack
